Military Branches of the New World Union

1- N.W.U. Terrestrial Forces

"The New World Union Terrestrial Forces, Ground Forces, or simply Army, is a New World Union Military Branch that operates on the surfaces of planets exclusively. They wage war against ground targets and have formed a reputation for being able to take a lot of punishment and survive in rough, rugged, and inhospitable terrain. They are the oldest branch in the New World Union's Armed Forces, and often find themselves playing 'the powerful cops' when crime breaks out far too much, though with even that role diminished, they find themselves like the Air Force, just lazing around and performing drills and whatnot at their bases."

2- N.W.U. Marines

"The New World Union Marines are a branch of the military not dissimilar to the Terrestrial Forces, though they specialize more in sea and space warfare. Occasionally, on very rare occasions, they will participate in the boarding of an enemy ship. On top of this, they are considered more elite than the Terrestrial Forces, and are usually the branch selected to assassinate targets. They have also notoriously been the workhorse of the AF-N and AF-P war efforts, committing daring and aggressive maneuvers to defeat the enemy, best described by themselves as 'eating alien flesh and kicking ass,' and that they're 'all out of alien flesh'."

3. N.W.U. Extradimensional Task Force (E.X.T.F.)

"Essentially the CIA of the New World Union, they are famed for their cloak and dagger activities, performing black ops for the New World Union and committing illegal acts to better the New World Union's interests, and also being the prime target for conspiracy theories and esoteric beliefs. Safe to say if you see an operative of the E.X.T.F. heading for you, or even one of its co-directors, you are fucked. Online rumors also state that there is a secret branch of the EXTF known as the Special Activities Division, which, like the Special Activities Division portrayed in games such as Call of Duty: Black Ops 1, perform black ops not dissimilar to missions portrayed in those pieces of media."

4. N.W.U. Air Force

"The N.W.U.A.F. are quite similar to the Terrestrial Forces in that they only operate on planets. In the early days of the New World Union, they were the most important force, striking against the Old World, and still maintaining an important role, still capable of dishing out immense amounts of damage. They have largely been eclipsed by the Space Navy in their combat roles though, and as a result, live relatively chill and relaxed lives at their bases. They however still have TASF forces, which stand for Tactical Aerial Strike Forces, which essentially perform the role of Special Forces with more emphasis placed on air support."

5. N.W.U. Coast Guard

"The rather mediocre but important job of homeland and homesystem defense is occupied by the Coast Guard. Guarding the New World Union's planets, solar systems, and cities, they are also the most important and used force against piracy, having singlehandedly or with aid shut down every single organized crime ring and cartel in the New World Union (though not without some aid from the other branches as well as divisions like SpecLaw, and only leaving one left that is unknown to the public, which is the Ace of Spades gang) in just 150 years after U-124-B was fully subjugated."
