Chapter- 51 Accepted

Start from the beginning

Naina looked at her mother confusedly as she didn't understand what her mom was telling.

"Ours is also love marriage," mom stated.

"Really?" Naina asked curiously.

"Yes, and your grandparents opposed our love,"

"So," she asked excitedly.

"So, we married secretly," her mom shrugged.

"Mom, did you elope with dad," she asked shockingly and her mom laughed, nodding her head.

.

.

Avi raised his eyebrow looking at Naina asking her about the results as soon as she came out from her room. She nodded positively with a beaming smile.

"Really?" he yelled and pulled her in a tight bear hug.

"What about dad?" she asked.

"They haven't completed their talk yet," Avi replied.

Naina and Avi sat on the couch waiting for their dad and Arnav to come while their mom went to the kitchen to prepare lunch. After half an hour the two walked in... As soon as Naina saw them coming, she stood up waiting for her father's response. Avi also stood there nervously waiting to know the results.

They both never even waited for their academic results like this.

"You found yourself a right man," her dad patted her head.

"Thank you, dadda," she yelled and hugged her dad with happy tears.

He smiled as he patted his daughter's head lovingly.

For him his daughter is very precious... He might not be a rich dad but he is the best dad.

"No tears are allowed from your eyes," Eshwar said as he wiped her tears.

Naina looked at Arnav after Eshwar left, and he just smiled.

"How did you do it, man," Avi asked excitedly as he hugged him.

"Can you please let me hug your sister too," Arnav remarked, ignoring his question.

"I know we are friends but don't forget I am her brother," Avi warned him.

"That's why I am asking your permission before doing it," Arnav remarked and Naina giggled. Avi glanced at Naina and she signaled him to say yes through her eyes.

"Ok, you only have 5 seconds. I will close my eyes and count 5," Avi said and closed his eyes then started counting.

Arnav pulled Naina to his embrace and kissed the top of her head.

"I love you," he whispered in her ear and kissed her forehead.

"5," Avi completed counting and opened his eyes. When he looked at them, Arnav's lips were on Naina's forehead.

"You can't just kiss my sister in front of me," Avi huffed and pulled Naina to him.

"Then you turn around," Arnav remarked lightly.

"No, you are not allowed to kiss my baby sister," Avi scoffed and dragged his sister with him.

But who is going to tell him that they have done more than kissing.

Almost one hour passed but Naina didn't get a chance to talk to Arnav. She was dying to know how he convinced her father but her mother asked her to help in the kitchen and Avi not leaving Arnav alone.

"Avi, go and bring these groceries from the supermarket," mom ordered Avi.

"Mom—" Avi whined, not wanting to go out.

"I will go mom," Naina remarked and took the slip from her mom's hand.

"Hmm," her mom hummed.

"Dad, can I take Arnav with me?" she requested with puppy eyes and her dad glanced at her.

"To carry the groceries," she reasoned nervously. "You know, right? I can't carry heavy groceries as my hands ache."

Eshwar looked at the grocery list which hardly had 4 or 5 names.

"Ok," he replied after a brief silence and Arnav walked to Naina like he was waiting for this response from his whole life.

They both walked out of the house.

"What happened? What did my dad say? How can you convince him?" She threw all the questions at once.

"Hmm, I will only tell if you give me a kiss," Arnav said teasingly, while showing his cheek to her.

"Are you crazy? We are the roads of my hometown...! here everybody knows my dad so don't play," she exclaimed.

"Ok, as your wish. If you want to know what I talked with your dad you have no other choice," he shrugged walking beside her and soon they reached the supermarket.

"When did you come, Naina?" a lady asked when they were entering the market.

"Last night, aunty," she replied with a smile.

"Oh... who is this guy?"

"That's my friend," Naina replied nicely.

"He is very handsome," she said, eying him up and down.

Naina smiled lightly and walked in.

"Nosy," she muttered after coming in.

"Tell me," she asked while putting the ingredients in the cart.

"What?" he asked, acting unbothered.

"Tell me, Arnav, what did you talk with my dad," she asked again.

"Deal is the deal. You give me a kiss, I will tell you," he shrugged.

"Herooo," she whined.

"Baby, don't seduce me here," he teased.

"Seriously, am I looking like I'm seducing you," she asked shocked and he chuckled, walking ahead of her.

"Ok, wait," she remarked and ran to him. After confirming no one was there, she gave a quick peck on his cheek.

"Now tell me"
