"what is it?" madelina asked, leaning forward with her arms over the steering wheel while she looked up at him lazily. matt glanced down at her eyes, and any doubt he had about leaving the party instantly left his body. she was totally out of the world right now and it looked like she was genuinely tweaking.

"come on." he nudged his head to the side, and madeline tried to stand up, only to dtumble right into matt. his hands came to rest on her waist as a reflex, and madelina giggled slightly at the touch.

"easy there." he mumbled, steadying her before ultimately sighing and wrapping his arm around her lower back. "come on." he groaned, pulling her with him to the other side of the car. she continued giggling slightly and leaned into his touch.

"where are we going?"

"home."

he didn't notice the immediate distress on her face as her heart started rating. she came to a halt in an instant and matt looked at her in confusion. his confusion vanished when he notcied her anxious eyes and he shook his head slightly with a small smile. "my house, dummy."

she sighed in relief, partly because she obviously didn't want to go home (and couldn't), and partly because she honestly needed matt his company. she did not want to be alone right now.

"okay." she whispered while he opened the passanger door for her to step in, and was about to close the door when he notice she didn't buckle her seatbelt yet. he rolled his eyes and inhaled sharply, before leaning over her to do it for her. she smiled up at him, a drunk, but genuine smile, and he couldn't help but return it. it wasn't as big as hers, but it was still something!

he texted both his brothers and the groupchat where he was going, before finally driving back with the drunk girl babbling at his side.

"my shirt is still wet."

"so is mine, lina." he replied, keeping his eyes on the road.

"i thought... i thought you had clothes?"

"i do."

"so... why aren't we wearing them right now?"

"what? you wanna change in a driving car?" he asked with a small chuckle, and madelina shrugged her shoulders.

"yes, why wouldn't i?"

"because... because uhm-" he cleared his throat, still keeping his eyes staright forward. madelina noticed his rosy cheeks, and laughed to herself.

"you're afraid to see my amazing boobs, i get it."

matt his eyes widened instantly, and he looked over at her in shock. "i am not! i mean-" he was interrupted by her loud laugh, and he shook his head at her amusement. "fuck you, lina. i'm not afraid of... whatever." his lips formed a thin line, and madelina slapped his arm softly.

"ahw, no. don't be like that." she giggled, before eyeing him knowingly. "i've had your spit in my mouth-"

"WOAH, OKAY!" he yelled, his eyes widening even more. "do not say that ever again, that is gross."

"gross, but true, i fear..." she trailed off, reliving the moment all over again. she frowned at the way she actually liked it, and shook her head in the hopes it'd shake her thoughts away.

she hadn't even realized she had zoned out, when matt suddenly opened her car-door with a long sigh.

"what are you doing?" she slurred, looking around.

"opening your door? jesus fuck." he mumbled, wasting no time grabbing both her hands. "c'mere." he mumbled, waiting for her to move her feet so he could pull her out of his car gently.

she gasped when she fell forward once again, and her vision became blurry. matt chuckled softly, making sure not to make too much noise since it was over twelve already. she wrapped her arms around his shoulders while he had his wrapped around her waist, hoping it'd keep her steady.

her breathing became heavier, and she was still wobbling around, though, so matt sighed for what felt like the hundreth time this evening, and looked her in the eye. "hold on." was all he said, before wrapping his arms around her lower back fully and lifting her in the air, startling the drunk girl.

"woah-" she got cut off by his low voice. "be quiet and-" he cut himself off with- you guessed it- another sigh as he moved his hands from her back to her lower tighs, causing her legs to wrap around his waist automatically. "woah." she repeated again, looking down at matt who was already looking up at her with raised eyebrows.

"woah?"

"yeah, didn't think your lanky arms could handle all this." she pressed her lips together to refrain from laughing, and matt couldn't help but smirk slightly as a low chuckle left his lips too.

"you underestimate me too much, lina." he whispered, making his way to the front door as he felt her sink into her chest. her head slowly fell to his shoulder, and she started to relax under his firm grip.

"yeah i do." she mumbled, smirking too herself. "didn't expect you to be a good kisser either." she snorted, and matt came to a halt instantly. she pulled her head from his shoulder, and smirked down at him.

"can you shut up?" he hissed, and she laughed.

"relax, silly. i was lying." she leaned a little closer and her voice grew quiet.

"i knew you'd be good, baby," she mumbled, and matts lips parted slightly. "just didn't know this good." she finished off, feeling his heartbeat rate. his eyes were wide, once again, and he swallowed harsly.

"knew?" he asked, trying to focus on the fact that she just admitted into thinking about kissing him, but also freaking out about the fact that madelina was thinking about kissing him.

"yes, i knew."

"you just knew?"

"yeah," she paused, and giggled to herself. "always the quiet ones, am i right?" she winked, and he actually let a breathless chuckle escape.

"you're fucking deranged." he mumbled when he walked through front door. she threw her head back in laughter and shook her head.

"i'm just joking." he raised his eyebrows and he finally put her down on the floor, steadying her by the waist.

"joking about me being a good kisser? or..." he didn't know why he asked that, cause he did not care if she thought he was a good kisser.

"no." she shook her head. "my silly comment was a joke, you dumbass."

"wow, rude." he muttered, dragging her to the couch as she dropped down lazily, her hair falling in front of her eyes. she immediately closed her eyes and matt stopped her quickly. "no, don't sleep." he pulled her arm forward slightly. "you have to change."

"oh yeaaaah...."

"come on." he mumbled, pulling her up from the couch again with another sigh, and madelina giggled.

"you're the sigh king."

"...lina what."
