Khloe

Nakaupo lang ako sa bench habang hinihintay si Logan. Kausap nya ang guard. Maybe they are talking about the incident earlier. Logan considered this as a big deal lalo na nang malaman nya na pangatlong beses na ang kanina.

I texted Anya and told her na sa labas na ako magdi-dinner. Seconds later, I received a reply from her.

"Okay. Sinong kasama mo? Family dinner? "

I typed my answer.

"I'm with Logan. "

Biglang nag-ring ang cellphone ko. Of course. She won't let this pass.

"Oh my gosh! You mean Logan Zamora? Why are you with him? I thought nasa ibang bansa na sya? What is this Khloe Emerald?!" Sunod-sunod na tanong nya.

"I'll give you his number. Go ask him." I joked. I received a groan from her.

"Khloe! "

I chuckled.

"Hindi sya tumuloy." I said.

"Pinigilan mo? " Gulat na tanong nya.

"No. Why would I do that? " Kunot-noo na tanong ko.

"He's hot and obviously one of those rare people that possesses a panty-wrecking smile. So... yup. Dapat talaga pinipigilan syang umalis. " She answered like it was the most accurate answer to my question. The heck? Is that even relevant?

"Then why you didn't stop him? "

"Like girl?! Sa akin ba may gusto yan? Ako ba hinahabol nyan? " I imagined her rolling her eyes in sarcasm.

I sighed.

"We had an issue before. Alam mo naman yun di ba? "

"Yup! At alam kong hindi uubra yung sinabi ko kanina. But hey! You didn't deny it! So you're admitting that he's breathtakingly handsome?" I sensed the excitement on her voice.

She's right. Logan is damn good looking. But there's no way I would admit it to her. Napangiwi ako habang iniimagine ang reaction nya kapag nalaman nya.

Nag-angat ako ng tingin at nakita si Logan na nakatayo sa harap ko. Nakakunot ang noo nito habang nakatitig sa cellphone ko.

He raised an eyebrow. Looks like he's trying to recall who's Anya. Tumango ito nang tila maalala kung sino ang binanggit ko.

"I talked to the guard. Sira raw ang CCTV sa building na iyon. Nakapagpasa na ako ng report regarding this case. I won't let this pass. " Mariin ang pagkakasaad nya sa huling pangungusap.

Tumango ako. I expected that. Malamang ay sinigurado muna ng gumawa nito na walang sabit or evidence na maiiwan para madiin sya.

Tumaas ang sulok ng labi ko sa pangalan na sinabi nya.

Mahina akong tumawa at umiling. Mas lalong tumalim ang tingin nya sa akin. Gusto kong umiwas ng tingin dahil nangangawit ang leeg ko kakatingala sa kanya but I chose not. I'm enjoying his expression right now.

"Is this a joke to you? " Seryosong tanong nya. I shook my head, still plastering the same grin.

Inilapit nya ang mukha sa akin. "Are you making fun of me? "
