"She is alright now. I will come and check her in the evening," doctor Sanvi commented with a smile and Arnav nodded.
"She has been talking like crazy, doc," a nurse remarked.
"You have heard that," Arnav asked.
"Yes, Mr. Singhania. I came to check on her before and heard everything, then I rushed to the doctor to inform her," she commented.
"It's because of the shock," doctor Sanvi stated.
"But doctor—" the nurse tried to say something, but Arnav cut her off.
"Its ok, doctor, she always talks like that,"
"So, she has always been a crazy girl," the nurse commented and went out with the doctor.
Naina covered her face with her palms in embarrassment when Arnav looked at her. He removed her hands sitting beside her on the bed, but she didn't open her eyes.
"Baby, open your eyes," he said with a smile. She opened her eyes, smiling nervously.
"You thought you died?" Arnav asked and caressed her hair.
"Everything is white when I open my eyes so, I thought it was heaven," she replied innocently and pouted when he chuckled.
"You think I can let you die?"
"As long as I am alive you have to live... you don't have any option," he kissed her forehead lovingly.
She got her leg fractured and got 5 stitches on her hand and a minor scratch on the temple.
They chatted for a while and she slept again due to the medicine power. When she woke up, it's already night.
Arnav helped her to the bathroom and fed her light food, then gave medicine. She obeyed like a child and took medicines.
He covered her with a bedsheet, and she slept again. He sat on the couch with his laptop and started working as he had important work.
"Butterfly, wake up. Doctor is here to check on you." Arnav tried to wake her up, but she always has a problem in waking up.
"Let me sleep, Arnav," she mumbled in sleep.
"But the doctor is here," he commented, giving a nervous smile to the doctor.
"Ask him to come again," she muttered, still in a daze.
"Naina, it's her, not him, and she needs to check up on you," Arnav said, and woke her up.
"Why?" she whined, sitting up on the bed.
"I need to check on your injuries, miss. Naina," this time doctor Sanvi responded to her. Listening to the new voice, she got alerted and glanced at the source of the voice. There is doctor Sanvi standing beside her bed with a nurse to her left.
"Oh..." Naina muttered, embarrassed, and let the doctor check up on her injuries.
"She is ok, Mr. Singhania. But just has a slight fever because of pain... give this medicine after feeding her something," doctor Sanvi informed.
"When can I take her home?" Arnav asked.
"Tomorrow," the doctor said and went out.
"I always embarrass myself and now I am embarrassing you too," Naina muttered.
"It's ok, darling... and this is your unique feature and I like you for this," Arnav said cheerfully.
"I will help you to the washroom," Arnav commented, and Naina nodded.
"Sir, do you need any help?" a nurse came in and asked, passing him a flirty smile.
"No need," he commented lightly and helped Naina to put her legs down to take her to the washroom.
"I will help you, sir," she remarked and held the other side of Naina, brushing her fingers to Arnav's hand.
"What is your name?" Naina asked.
"Renu," she replied, looking at Arnav.
"Renu, you can go out. We don't need your help," Naina said sweetly, but Arnav could sense jealousy in her voice.
"I will help," she remarked, still looking at Arnav.
"I said we don't need your help," Naina yelled.
"But—" she glanced at Naina.
"No buts... he is capable of carrying me to the bathroom so you can leave," Naina shouted with a jealous dripping voice and Renu left without sparing Naina a glace.
"Jealousy much, huh?" Arnav chuckled as he carried her to the bathroom and she glared at him.
He helped her to brush her teeth and wash her face, then he carried her to the bed and fed her a light breakfast before giving medicine.
After a few minutes, the door busted open, revealing her friends and brother along with Ajay.
They asked about her wellbeing and Avi told her that he was there last night but she was asleep when he came.
"You already knew," Pooja asked Av, and he nodded. Then she looked at Payal and she also nodded, then she glanced at Ajay, who was not making eye contact with her.
"Everybody knew," she muttered.
"Why didn't you inform me before?" Pooja sulked, looking at Naina.
"Ok let me invite you now, please pick up the call," Naina said as she called pooja with her imaginary phone.
"Pick up," she urged and put Pooja's hand on her ear just like Naina.
"Hello?" Pooja said, acting along with Naina.
"Dear pooja, I am delighted to inform you that I met with an accident yesterday and I am here in Saradhi hospital taking treatment... Kindly visit and provide your condolences or sympathy or whatever... Flowers and fruits were accepted," Naina said and they all laughed.
Only she can make fun of her situation even when she is in pain.
