"I'm right next door, and we're the only set of rooms with a connecting door. I might have arranged for that to happen as I said."

"They could have saved on rooms, and we could have shared one." Angel chuckled as he walked up behind her and wrapped his arms around her waist.

"He didn't quite go for that." She leaned back, being at peace where she was but she could feel the tension from him as well.

"What is it?" she questioned.

"There's an image I'm going to need to show. That's why there's no room sharing. It's not frowned upon for us to go out or be seen together, but sharing a room is a no-go. Hence the door. If the press ever got wind of that, though, it would be shit for the both of us for a long while to come." Judith rolled her eyes. Though she loved some bright spots about Hollywood, there were still a lot more she hated. These poor actors hardly had a life of their own, which was sad! And besides, how many main actors were happily married to someone and didn't need to put on a show for their movie?

"I get it," she mumbled. And she did, even if she didn't like it. He gave her a quick squeeze before he walked to the connecting door. She glanced at him as he paused, and he threw her a wink.

"The night is ours, there's nothing going on since we start early tomorrow for shooting. Want to join me for dinner?"

"Sure, we won't get in trouble?" He rolled his eyes and walked out of the room, both of them chuckling. With a sigh, she turned her view away from the window and to the bag which he placed on the bed, letting her unpack in peace, though he kept the door between their rooms open.

"Would you like future stories to be made into movies?" Judith sat back against the patio chair as she held the glass of wine between her hands while she thought over that question. Honestly, she couldn't say.

"I don't know. I mean, it's the greatest feeling I think to have your work turned into the big screen here. But it's a hell of a process that I didn't put much thought into, and it's been pretty overwhelming. I'm not sure I would ever be comfortable giving them my book and saying here, do you what you want and not have a say in it, you know?" Judith paused as she thought over her next words. "I have faith in you that you want to stay true to the story and I think you would have fought for the important scenes to remain the same. However, without being hands-on, I'm not sure other actors would fight."

"That makes sense. You put you all in a story, I would assume, so you want to see it done correctly. The glitz and glam of Hollywood aren't for everyone." Judith laughed as she took a sip of her wine before placing it back down.

"That's true. But it's not even that, you know. It's the way Hollywood would destroy a classic love scene to make it steamy and full of other feelings that aren't there or don't need to be, all to sell a buck. I mean, I know adaptations are done and that's fine, but some things, they're just so important and I'm not fond of cutting them out or re-doing them. I think I got caught up in the thought of something of mine being so big that I didn't stop to think why I personally hate seeing stories made into the big screen."

"Too many liberties taken?' Angel asked and she could only nod to that. That was the truth, and she just didn't like it. She had read classics that made it onto the big screen and some of the biggest scenes she was looking forward to had been changed or were cut completely. And that gutted her. She hated to see that. The moment she had gotten the call, though, she forgot all of that and couldn't wait to jump at the chance to have her story made into a movie. But the experience was here, and she wouldn't do it again.

"Sometimes, way too many." Angel smiled at that as he took a sip of his own drink. "So, any thoughts as to what's coming up after this is done? I mean, I know you still have a while."

"My agent sent me an action script to look into. Guess the movie is set to start production mid-next year. But action is hard, I mean, harder." Judith lifted a brow at that, and Angel sighed. "It's more physically demanding and usually once you cross over from a romance actor into an action actor, you get pigeonholed into those roles. I love the drama that being a romance actor brings, it's enough to make me happy. And besides, the ladies love it so it's not like it's bad. I can still get lots of dates, you know." Judith rolled her eyes but couldn't stop the smirk. There was truth behind that statement.

And it also brought up their future thoughts. She could see herself letting her guard down and falling for this man in so many ways. But at the same time, she was only here for a little while. So, what happens when the movie was done, and she was forced to go back home? Angel didn't strike her as one to believe in long-distance relationships, and though the beach was great, California was not her home.

"Yes, the ladies do love you." Angel got out of the chair and kneeled in front of her, taking her cheek in his hand.

"There's only one lady I want to view me that way now." He leaned forward and brushed her lips with his, making her sigh. And as she reached up to cling to his shirt, a pounding on the door broke them apart. Angel frowned as he stood up and walked over, yanking the door open. "Molly?"

"I need you, Angel," she whimpered, flinging herself into his arms, holding him tightly around the waist. "I need your comfort."
