our families decided to have a Christmas dinner together, so after we went to church we celebrated together at our house, we did exchange gifts, sang, opened presents, and played scrabble. After all that it was time to eat dinner
as we were eating my grandma started to choke, her chair fell down and we immediately called an ambulance.
Here i am in the waiting area with my parents and Destiny's parents while destiny and the others take care/watch the kids while we're gone.
the doctor approached me
"im afraid your grandmother doesn't have much time to live, she has a huge tumor in her brain and i don't think we can fix it. i recommend taking her to a hospice. im so sorry" the doctor said
tears started coming out my eyes and my family was trying to console me
i went to my grandmothers hospital room crying
"Everything is going to be alright, my dear" she said
"No its not! i don't wanna lose you, please don't leave" i said with a shaky voice
"i will always look out for you, no need to worry. I love you so so much remember that okay?" she said reaching her arms out to me
i hugged her as tight as i can.
a week later my grandmother was transferred into a hospice, seeing her leave hurt me so bad i started arguing with Destiny over everything, i stopped giving her roses since i thought it was a waste of time and it reminded me of the flower shop i used to help my grandma manage
2 months go by and i get a call from my mother, she was crying
"MOM WHATS WRONG? ARE YOU OKAY?" i said
"y-your grandma, she's gone baby" my mom said
i hung up and cried for days. Destiny has been trying to contact me, but i just ghosted her
