At school, my best friend, Kelly, swung up to me with some kind of program in her hand.

"Read it! Read it! Read it!" She exclaims.

Do You Have Talent???

Do You LOVE To Act???

Then we have the right club for you!

Come to Drama Club Tuesday, September 14th!

See Ya There!

"Oh. My. God." I gasp.

"I know  right?" She practically screams in my ear.

Kelly is very active in many clubs and absolutely loves to act.

It wouldn't surprise me if that was the reason why she picked it up.

"I guess I'll do it..."

"Yes! I knew you would! I knew you would!"

I sigh.

At my locker, I open it and out pops something wrapped in a paper towel...

I unwrap it, to see a Boston Cream Donut.

I smile and turn around, looking for Drew.

Then I saw him lounging against the wall, his nose in a book.

I walk over to him and pull his book down.

"You gave this to me..."

"Well, Duh, It was in your locker." He laughs at me.

I rolled my eyes and said, "But it was the only Boston Cream..."

"The one and only..."

I smile, rip it in half, and give one half to him.

"You know... There's a Drama Club Meeting on Tuesday..." I tell him.

"Oh! Are you joining? I am."

"Actually, I am!"

He smiles cockily at me and takes a bite out of his half, devouring almost all of it.

The first bell rings and I wave good-bye to Drew while simultaneously crashing into one of the "nerd geeks" of our school.

At second hour, I sit down at my desk, I'm shocked to see the school jock come over and say,"Well, you're looking hot today."

"You have never talked to me before, why would you talk to me now?"

He looks surprised that I had stood up to him and says with a smirk,"Let's meet tomorrow night after the football game."

Just then, Mr.Herman walks up to the board and starts to write. His cue for us to be quiet.

After class, I meet Kelly at the soda machine.

"Dude! Matt just asked me out!!!" She practically screams in my ear.

Matt was Kelly's "crush of the week". It's not like she's "Boy crazy" but she does like to add a little drama in our boring lives...

"Do you think it will last as long as Alex?" I ask her quizzically.

"Well, Alex was nice... until I found him with his lips all over Makena Bline!"

She clearly pronunciates her name as she walks by, with Alex at her hip. Literally.

I chuckle as we walk to our next class, English.

I see Drew as we walk on, talking to some of his art class buddies.
