I look down and Emery is sleeping.

Oh, baby.

I kiss her forehead and watch the movie.

She sits up suddenly and blinks up at me.

"Hey, gorgeous," I smile at her.

"Hi, handsome," she stretches.

"Did you sleep good?" I murmur.

"Mhm," she yawns quietly.

"Can you still multitask?" I grin.

"Fuck yeah," she smirks.

I pull her face closer to mine and kiss her. She wraps her arms around my neck and deepens the kiss.

I cup the back of her neck and she opens her mouth slightly. I slip my tongue in and she smiles.

I don't know how long we make out for, but when she finally pulls away, we're both panting quietly.

She rests her forehead against mine and smiles.

"I love you," she breathes.

"I love you, too," I whisper.

She stays on my lap as we finish the movie, and when it's over, she turns to face me again.

"Are we going back to your house now?" She mumbles.

"Do you want to?" I brush her hair back.

"Mhm," she tucks her head into my neck.

I carry her outside to the car and set her in the passenger seat.

I get in the driver's side and start driving.

Emery's phone rings so she digs it out of her pocket.

"Yes, Devyn?" She sighs as she answers, putting it on speakerphone.

"Can you guys come back to the house for a little bit?" He asks.

"For what?" She murmurs.

"So I can spend time with my sister before I leave for a week," he says like it's obvious.

I forgot that Devyn wouldn't see her either.

"Um, I'm actually spending time with my—"

"We'll come back, Devyn," I say over her. She frowns at me and I squeeze her thigh.

"Okay. See you soon," he hangs up and Emery glares at me.

"Why are we going back?" She pouts.

"Your brother is leaving too. You should spend time with him," I take her hand in mine.

"But I want to spend time with you," she whispers.

"Baby, if you really don't want to go, we don't have to. Call him back and tell him—"

"No, it's fine. You'll still give me attention though?" She mumbles.

"Yes, baby, I will. Always," I kiss her hand.

"Okay," she murmurs, resting her head on my shoulder.

We pull up to her house and we get out. She grabs the slushy and I follow her into the house.

"You're back," Aria smiles as we walk in.

"Devyn made me," Emery crosses her arms like a little kid.

"I did not make you," Devyn snorts.

"Um, yeah, you did," she sticks out her tongue.

"What were you doing that it was such an inconvenience?" Aria laughs.
