In ages past, a love profound and true,

a heartbreak of colossal magnitude.

When souls entwined, emotions once imbued,

torn apart, liketh tempest yond unglued.

With every tear yond hath fallen, chasms formed -

a rift, a gulf, a canyon vast and wide.

The earth bore witness as emotions stormed.

It's violent sting couldst not beest denied,

each crack in the pavement mirrored the pain;

A shattered heart, the earth's own ache it bore,

and in yond rupture, endless rivers drain

as love's demise etched nature to its core.

The canyon now a testament to woe,

a heartbreak's echo from so long ago.
