Clarity's POV

Luke has been following me around all frieking day. (MORE PUNS) After I dropped Rin off at the hospital, the doctors told me I had to leave while they fixed him up. Reluctantly I had left, and it wasn't long before I noticed Luke stalking me.

It was creeping me out so I went into the church, because demons can't come in. I know, that's really offensive, but I don't want a stalker. He still tried to follow me, but he stopped as if there was an invisible force field, which I guess there is.

I don't see him there anymore, but that doesn't mean he isn't looking in the windows. I shiver at the thought and walk up to the altar. A few people are milling around, but the church remains mostly empty.

On top of the altar is a crystal, and it feels cool to the touch. I pray to the Angel who I assume is my mother, and ask if it's true that I'm her offspring.

I'm not an overly holy person, but being a light magic, it sometimes feels good to pray. I stand there for what feels like hours before sighing and turning away.

I suppose I should apologize to Luke for running away, then slap him for being a stalker. I open the doors and begin to step out when I hear a few people gasp.

I whirl around to see a large bird made of pure light over the altar. It's body alone is larger than me, and it's wings are enormous. It's feathers glimmer every color imaginable, and it has a beautiful collection of shimmering tail feathers.

"Clarity," it whispers mesmerizingly, and I stare at it dumbfounded, "I am the Angelic Queen Summer, your mother," I expect to get some amazed looks from the spectators at the talking Pheonix, but none seem to hear her. Summer looks at the people, noticing my confusion.

"They can't hear us, only those with my blood can hear me," she smiles the best she can with a beak, making me laugh slightly.

"Can I turn into a Pheonix?" I ask like a child. I really hope I can, it looks like fun.

"Yes," Summer replies, and I leap up and squeal like a fangirl, "All you have to do is think it,"

I try it, having PHEONIX be the only thing on my mind, and I felt myself change. My body became lighter and airier, and I felt my arms change to wings. When I looked down, I was a bird of pure light.

"Now you can fly freely my dear," Summer said, but her expression suddenly darkened, "Why are you carrying the offspring of a demon?"

My joy was replaced with fear when I saw the pure rage in her eyes.
"Ummm... Well," I say stupidly, trying to think of an answer that will make her go against scalding me & Rin.

"I see, you betrayed light for a frieking demon!" She screams, her look killing any confidence I once had. She transforms into a ticked angel, with long golden hair flowing down her back.

"Well, this child will not have a father," she spits and I turn to see Rin on the ground, bound in chains. He smiles up at me, profound bruises marking his face. My eyes tear up. Brave until the end. Summer holds a sword to the side of his throat then slices before I can scream. I turn away, the tears escaping my eyes.

"Nor a mother," she snarls, and I turn to see her swing the sword at my head before it all goes black.
------------------------
I wake up in a cold sweat, screaming.

"Clarity!" I hear Atlantis yell, and I turn to see her head looking down from her bunk.
"Are you ok?"

"Yeah," I reply, tucking my knees to my chest, "Just a nightmare,"

She nods at me, then her bluenette head disappears. She must be used to it by now. I'm not ok though, I'm trying to convince myself it's just a nightmare.

These have been occurring more & more often, and each time I wake up screaming in fear. It's scaring the heck out of me. But the systematic occurrence of them leads me to believe that they're not natural, but someone's sending them to me on purpose.
-------------------------
I shook off the nightmare and put on some denim jeans and a blue tee-shirt with 'MEOW' printed on the front. After that I shook up Atlantis (who tried to pillow assault me, but that failed) then texted everyone to meet us in my dorm room. I had a plan.

Atlantis's POV

I'm sitting on our patterned rug as the others arrive. Right now I'm really bored, so I'm creating a water orb, then exploding it over random people, earning me a lot of glares.

Finally everyone arrives, so I stop getting the others wet. I settle down beside Shima the perv, and he smiles sweetly. He's actually nice once you get to know him, he's just got a bit of a perv in him.

Clarity walks up to the front and smiles wide. "I know who the enemy is," she announces, and a few people hoot softly. Once they quiet down, she continues, "She is The Demon Lord Katy, and her powers include blue flames and powerful storms. She is weak most against light, because dark is her natural element. Although most attacks will harm her, despite the element. I think that if we train, we have a fighting chance at beating her. If we don't..." She trails off, but she doesn't need to finish. We all know what she was referring to.

Shiemi raises her hand high in the air, her green eyes uncertain. "Is negotiating with her out of the question?" She asks, but I think she already knows the answer.

"We're already beyond that," Clarity sighs, and a tear streams down her face. Cirrus. The Demon Lord killed her, and she wants revenge.

I stare at my hands, forming little water droplets on them. I don't want to kill anybody, but I will do it to save the world. This Katy lady wants to destroy my home, but there's no way in heck that's going to happen. Not if I can help it. I grin up at Clarity. I'm in. I look around to see the other's faces just as determined, and I know that we can defeat her.

I look at Shiema, and our eyes meet. We both believe.

The crowd suddenly erupts into roars of approval and I join in. After it dies down, the crowd disperses, I'm about to get ready for bed when I feel a tap on my shoulder.

I spin around to see a blushing Shima, which confuses me. What does he have to be embarrassed about? He scratches the back of his salmon head nervously, then clears his throat loudly. I wait for him to speak, but it never comes. I make a circular motion with my hand, hoping he'll continue.

He gets the clue, and begins talking shakily, "Ummm... Do you want to go somewhere with me?" Then he explodes into a major blush, turning away from me.

I just laugh at his ridiculous expression and turn him back towards me. "Of course! What makes you think I wouldn't?" I exclaim, and his face becomes more colorful than his hair.

He smiles than leads me out the door. But before the door shuts, I see Clarity watching me worriedly. I frown, but she's cut off from sight before I can ask her anything.

But what do I have to be worried about?
