Clarity's POV

I wake up, sitting on what appears to be a wooden bench-swing. The breeze is gently rocking me back and fourth, dizzying my already confused head. I look up to see 4 figures staring at me. Luke is there, along with another boy who must be an identical twin, and two unknown girls, as different as day & night.
(Puns! Sorry if you don't get it)
One of them had a forced smile on her suntanned face, with long dark hair flowing past her shoulders, while the other had light fiery hair and a genuine grin that lit up her sky blue eyes.

"She's awake!" The redhead said excitedly, in a tone that reminded me of Atlantis. The memory made tears well up in my eyes, but I forced them down. I will be strong.

"So she is," the brunette said in a bored voice, twirling a small pink object in her fingers- an apple blossom.

"Who the heck are you?" I ask, slightly worried about their plans with me. I only think they have something on their mind because of the way the brunette is looking at me. She's studying, and calculating, that much is for sure. Also, their methods in getting me here weren't all that pleasant. I glare at Luke, who is preoccupied talking to his twin in a hushed voice. I strain to hear them, but all I catch is one word. "Kate,"

"Oh sorry, we should really introduce ourselves," the redhead pipes, earning a glare from the leader, but she continues anyways, "I'm Sophie-Chan, Lord in training, this is Lord Katy, my master, and those guys over there are Luke & Kyle, our servants!" Luke lazily waves hi to me, and Kyle just tilts his head up tiredly.

"Yes, we are here to recruit you," Katy says, still in the same evil tone that sends shivers down my spine. I look up at her in confusion.

"Recruit me for what?" I inquire, trying to pry information out of her, but she remains as expressionless as stone. I frown.

"I suppose I should tell you," she growls, obviously annoyed by my curiosity. "Oh, and Kyle, go feed the Kat," she says turning away from me. Now I'm annoyed. She can't bother to tell me anything without interruptions. I see Kyle jump up and run off to some unknown place.

She turns back to me and to my delight continues. "I suppose we're not really recruiting you, more give your powers to the Demon Queen or she dies," she smirks, and I stare in confusion.

She snaps her fingers and Luke approaches her cautiously. "Bring the prisoner and terminate her unless Clarity here surrenders," she says casually and Luke's eyes widen.

"Me?" He asks stupidly, and Katy grimaces.

"YES YOU!!! WHO THE H*** DO YOU THINK IT IS????" She screams, slamming her fists on the table so menacingly that even her apprentice winces. When I look back up, she has him choking on the scarlet bow, his face slowly turning purple. Blood slowly trickles from around the ribbon, and I gasp in horror. The scars. This is where they come from.

She releases him and he falls to the ground gasping. He gets up weakly, heaving for air and stumbles off to get the 'prisoner'.

"You'd better as heck give up your powers," she snarls, a deadly glint in her eyes. I feel it now. Her darkness is pouring off her in waves, almost suffocating me in hate. This is her true self.

"No," I say flatly. There's no way in heck I'm giving up what I earned. She smiles cruelly, and I hear struggling from behind the Demon. I stand up and glance behind her, and see Luke returning with a limp body, dragging it behind him. Once he is standing next to the table he dumps the limp body on the ground, and I see her face.

I stare in horror as I recognize her braided blonde hair and soft face. It's Cirrus.

"S-she isn't re-eal," I stutter, staring at her limp bruised form. This is only just a dream, right?
