Kabanata 1

"Good morning!" bati ng babaeng napadaan sa kaniya.

Nilingon niya ito at walang salitang tumango. His black-rimmed eyeglasses made him look like a decent guy. If he didn't only have that silver dangling cross earring on his right ear, he'd look like those genius guys I've seen in movies.

Umikot ako at tuluyan nang iniwas ang tingin sa lalaki nang halos makalapit na ito sa akin. His body looks so perfect; he's well-built. He has a good hairstyle and a simple fashion sense. But I am not a fan of fair guys.

But... maybe I can hook up with him. Once? He's tall-over six feet flat, to be exact.

I nodded to myself and finally agreed with my other personality to be friends with him. Bumaling ako sa kaniya upang magpakilala nang halos bumunggo ako sa kaniyang dibdib. Agad siyang tumigil at agad din akong umatras palayo!

Kulang na lang ay pumikit ako nang biglang umatake sa aking ilong ang kaniyang pabango. It has a slightly woodsy, spicy, and coffee-like scent. It was attractive.

"I'm sorry," his voice was surprisingly spicy as well.

"It's okay... it was my fault for turning abruptly," I said with a chuckle. Nakangiti kong inangat ang tingin sa kaniya.

He looked at me with downcast eyes as his brows came together. When a familiar pair of deep hazelnut eyes with thick lashes and dark waterlines stared into my eyes without blinking, my smile gradually faded.

I blinked twice.

I'm not sure how to respond. I was taken by surprise. Shit. He looked at me and pursed his lips. He walked past me without saying anything.

Wow. It was really him!

Sinundan ko siya ng tingin. I've seen his photos, but seeing him again... this quick was unexpected. And I was astounded by how much he had changed.

He was already tall when we first met, but now he's a giant. Plus... he looks even better now. I tilted my head while watching him walk away. I smiled.

As far as I know, he's in a long-term relationship. Can he still remember me? If yes, he should've greeted me, right? We had a good night together. I was his first, he said. Kaya imposibleng hindi niya ako nakilala.

But isn't that better? He has a girlfriend now, and I don't want to cause misunderstandings, if ever. I chuckled. I can't believe I planned to hook up with him.

"Asia Ludovica!"

Halos umirap ako nang salubungin ako ng nakangising si Cohen. Gusto ko siyang bigwasan nang pisilin niya ang aking mga pisngi nang makalapit sa akin.

"Cohen!" Tulak ko sa kaniya at napahawak sa aking mukha.

Humalakhak siya at tinagilid ang ulo. "Ilang beses akong pumunta sa bahay niyo pero sabi ni Ate Reese pahirapan ka raw lagi mahagilap."

"I was busy. Daming pinapagawa ni Mommy. Asan mga kaibigan mo?" I tried to divert the topic and looked around.

"Probably in their first class. I was reaching out to Cain, but he's dead. Anyways, may gig kami mamaya. Pumunta ka. Ipapakilala kita sa mga kaibigan ko." He grinned.

His emerald eyes looked mischievous as he said those last words. Nginisihan ko siya, nakuha ang pinupunto niya.

"You son of a bitch, I'm in." I smirked.

Humagalpak siya at nagpaalam na dahil maaga ang unang klase niya. I took a picture of my schedule. Kaya naman bitbit ko ang aking telepono habang hinahanap ang unang klase ko.
