I don't own any of the characters except for Liz and her family. The book was written by the awesome Rick Riordan and I'm just basing my fanfiction off of that. However, im writing some of the chapters in Leo's perspective and because I'm doing that, I'm just copying Rick Riordan's words and putting them down in the book because it's not necessary to rewrite everything just because my character is there now. Things will be tweaked for the sake of inserting my character but otherwise, Leo's perspective will stay the same in my book as it was in the original books.
