meeting the family

a few days later, Kit and kit agree on meet my family today, but I haven't told them anything yet. I also haven't told my best friend from primary school who's name is Rosie she knows I'm trans obviously and she also knows I'm gay but she doesn't know that I'm dating kit she knows that I have a crush on him but that's all.

I'm sitting in kits car half asleep this is going to be a bit of a drive as they all live in Leeds apart from my older sister madison she lives in London.

I'm wearing kits hoodie, which is grey with something in Spanish written on it and some Adidas joggers and kits wearing a blue sweater with some grey Nike joggers

We drive past the countryside near my mums, and I now know where I am it's all coming back to me. All the memories, the good and the bad, all the fun I had, the first time I learnt to be a little more independent. god, so many great times.

I end up falling asleep, the Countryside is still about a 10 minute drive to my mums house, so I can get a little rest.

I get woken up by someone shaking me wake
"Hm,"
"River, we're here now,"
"Oh, Yay," I say groggily

We get out of the car, and we walk up to the front door, and I knock, the door opens, and my mum immediately hugs me
"Oh, my sweet boy, it's been so long,"
"Yeah, I missed you,"
"Oh, I missed you too, sweetheart. Who's this young man with you? "
"Uh, this is kit,"

Kit waves and introduces himself
"Hello, kit, I'm leigh."
"Hi."
"Come in, you two. Do you want anything to drink?" She says, walking into the kitchen
"No thanks, mum,"
"Okay, river, you going to say hello to you, brother and sisters?"
"Really do I have to"
"Yes, they've missed you,"
"Fine, but I doubt sookie has," I call over

Me and Kit walk upstairs and into my bedroom. It's still the same how I left it, my guitar on the wall, my posters of Marvel, and yungblud, my drum set on the floor, my TV with my ps4, and everything else

Kit immediately fell onto my bed
"Ughhh, I get to rest now,"
I crawled onto him
"Does this count as resting?" I say, smashing my lips against his
We lay there kissing until I heard voices outside my room, then I broke away and sat up

Kit looks at me, then sits up, too
"Why did you stop?" he asks
"Oh, I think my brother and sister are outside my door."
"Oh, do you want to say hi?"
Before I could answer, they opened my bedroom door

"RIVERRRRR" they both shout and jump onto me
"Jeez, you need to stop doing that. You're both 10 now." With both of their weights, they make me fall back onto my bed, and kit is sitting there amused laughing his head off
"Kit, stop sitting there and help me,"
"Nah, you can figure that out for yourself." Still laughing

The twins get off of me and look at kit
"Who's that?" they ask
"Uh Zak luna, um, this is kit." I look down,"he's my boyfriend, "
"FINALLY YOU HAVE A MAN," luna shouts
"God shut up the whole street doesn't need to know," and with that kit starts laughing again

The twins seem to be fine with kit, so I went over to sookie my other little sister, but she's 18, and she can be a handful so when I tell her about kit I don't know how she will react

We and Kit walk over to her room, and I knock on the door. Before she opens the door, I quickly whisper to kit
"If she insults you don't take it the wrong way, that's just how she is."

Sookie opens the door and looks at me and kits
"Oh, I didn't think you would come back, and you have also brought a 15 year old with you,"
"No, actually, he's 19 like me,"
"Anyway, what do you want?"
"Uh, this is kit, and kit is um,"
I grab kits' hands, and I look up at him, and he gives me a nod
"Kit is my boyfriend,"
"So that was it," she asks
