It's been around a week, and well, to say the least, it's been uneventful. In a good way, of course! Nothing out of the ordinary, just the regular days, no odd encounters, or tensed up meetings. Just work

Today, the only thing I had planned (aside from work) was having tea with a friend of mine. Back then, when I was still struggling with my job and everything, to celebrate milestones, such as a month passing, me and my pal would spend my pay check on exotic and expensive tea.it was also a great excuse for him to have me pay for everything (since his broke ass can't pay for sh-)

It's been a long while since we last saw each other, and in all honesty

I kind of miss him

Not really (I do)

Well, I do appreciate having him. He's a great guy, and I do owe him a cup of tea since it's been a long time. Carrying the tea and cups I had prepared for us, reminiscing my time with him.

I make my way outside the Harbor. This time, he wanted to meet more in the outskirts and wild area of liyue, close to a cliff??

He insisted on such, for the 'view' and 'scenery', he said

*Sigh*

I make my way to ... and see a figure next to rocks made and set up to act as a table

"Zhongli!!" I call out

He turns around, smiles

"Y/N, my dear friend, it's been a while." He comes closer to me, opening his arms, hugging me

"I've missed you." he says, wrapping his arms around me tightly, it feels warm.

"I've missed you too." I reply and hug him back

"Now we have a lot to catch up on"

"Yes we do, and I have some tea for us to share" I say lifting my hands revealing some expensive imported tea. "I heard this is some good stuff"

We chatted and chatted, losing track of time, I couldn't tell whether hanging out with him or the tea made time fly by so fast. We had some laughs and joys the entire time, so much to catch up on. It felt great to spend time with him. Zhongli was someone who had been with me since my darker days, and eversince he's always been here for me. Which is why we became quite close. Soon night was approaching, and so was our time to bid

"I didn't realize it was getting dark" I look at the change in pitch within the sky."Guess we should get going now, huh"

"I guess we should" he sighed looking at the sky as well. Till a thought popped into his head. "I have this fine wine that hasn't been touched in ages..."

I look at him a bit confused, but sensing he is indicating something...

"Why end our meeting here when we can continue it later? With an old aged osmanthus wine?" He looks at me. "We could extend this rendezvous of our in a different setting, within the harbour"

I look at him letting out a puff. I know what he's thinking "You are just looking for an excuse to drink, aren't you?" I say smirking at him

"I- well I would be lying of I called you false, but I do wish to spend so more time with you" he let's out a chuckle "who knows when you will be free to have some drinks with me again"

"You and I both know you are quite the work aholic Y/N~"

I roll my eyes "Ok,ok old man let's go then!"

Y/N and zhongli agree to meet up in the main Harbor. They decide to walk there together, choosing a nice location for some nice alcohol. Midway though they have a little stop, the many stores, and bustling people at night intrigued the two. More specifically the old man was intrigued.
