zakaria sat in the library chair typing on one of the computers. she was currently doing her college homework at the library since she didn't own computer at the moment, she was working on it. she was in collage to become a real estate agent. she was on her last year and she was beyond happy to be done.
she was in the middle of typing her paper when her phone began to ring. it was a little loud which made everyone start to look at her as she quickly grabbed it before answering the phone
"hello" she spoke in a normal tone trying not to be too loud
"hi kk" jada says in her happy smiley tone
"you needed something" she asked putting her phone on her shoulder and tilting her head to hold it there while she finished her paper
"yesss, you want to go to this party with me later on"
"no" zakaria quickly said louder than she intended to which made people look over at her again as she took the phone from off her shoulder now holding it
"SHHH" a white old lady sounded, with her pointer finger over her mouth
"sorry" zakaria whispered with a fake smile on her face before going back to the conversation
"who the fuck telling you to shh and shit, put me on speaker so i can tell that hoe something" jada said with a mug on her face getting ready to cuss someone out
"stop no" she said grabbing her things and getting ready to go, she was done with everything that she needed to do anyway
"next time tell that bitch to go lick a dick, but back to the party situationn" she trailed off causing zakaria to roll her eyes and hang up
its not that she didn't wanna go it was just that she had more important things to do than go to a lame party and she still had malakai to look after. jada had quickly called her back which made zakaria pick up.
"kari don't be doing that!" jada yelled a bit
"jada did you forget i have malakai to watch after i get him from school" she says checking her surroundings while walking towards the metro
