Pitamah bhishm arranged everything for yagna to get Prasad from God and to save hastinapur from evil. It took some time to collect all river waters and pure things and also to get the most auspicious day to welcome the vara prasad of God.
The news spread like wildfire to whole aryavarta except kuru princes. dronacharya came to know abt this but he thought not to inform kuru princes as it may become a topic among them and he also don't want his shishya's to get any distraction.
Now yudhistir is 22, Bheem is 20, Arjun is 18, nakul and sahadev is going to be 17 soon.
One fine afternoon in gurukul:
Pandava brothers were sitting together under a tree in break time.
Nakul observed Arjun is restless from the morning. Nakul: bhratha Bheem see bhratha Arjun is not good from morning. Bheem: it's surprising that you noticed this also...i thought u are only good at observing your face in mirror ...Bheem said and other Pandavas laughed at his statement...expect Arjun who is lost in his whole world. Nakul glared at Bheem.
All noticed Arjun and worried because Arjun is always a naughty kid who will never miss any chance to tease his bhratas. Yudhi called Arjun once but no reply so he shaked Arjun and looked at him concerned. Arjun now out of his trance and see his bhratha in questioning look. Sahadev: bhratha Arjun where were u lost? Arjun: umm I...he stammered and thought about the wierd dream he had early morning.
__Arjun's Dream__
Arjun is standing near some yagna...some rishis are chanting mantras...his focus is only on the fire...within some time a form of girl appeared from the fire...he was amazed and waiting for the girl to come outside...she opened her eyes...he got goosebumps all over his body...but then his idiot brother nakul shaked him to wake him up.
__End of dream__
He remembered only her beautiful Lotus like eyes which was unique....from morning he is lost in thinking of that girl from fire. He thought everything for a while and broke his trance when again his bhratha Bheem shaked him to regain his lost brother.
Bheem: Arjun again u are lost in thoughts....we are asking u what happened. All demanded an answer from Arjun. Arjun smiled thinking about the dream and was about to say something but then their guru drona called them as their break is over. They all nodded and went after him.
In Hastinapur
Kunthi and gandhari were delighted about the yagna that they are going to get another child that too a girl...gandhari atleast have dhushala but kunthi always craves for a girl child whom she can pamper....Dhushala is equally excited to have someone whom she can accompany all time...even though she has bhrathas but that will not give the same feel as with a girl companion.
In the evening king dhrithirasht, vidur, gandhari kunthi along with dhushala is seated near the yagna... gandhar Raj shakuni was also present there...the whole hastinapur sabha was present there to witness the yagna...bhishm started to give ahutis...then it's followed by dhrithirasht, gandhari and kunthi as this is done for the wellbeing of hastinapur and they are the right authorities to the throne.
At one point the fire reaches the height of sky...they all gasped at the sight.
