Chapter- 26 Are you in love?

Start from the beginning

I hit my elbow to the door when I was coming out and hit my toe to the couch when I was walking past the couch and hissed in pain.

"Can't you be careful", Payal commented.

I shrugged and opened the fridge door to have some water.

"Sorry", I remarked and put the lemon back in the fridge which fell down when I was taking out a water bottle.

"Don't drink cool water when your hair is still wet", Pooja commented while sitting on the couch.

"You are such a mummy", I teased and Payal laughed.

I opened the bottle cap and tried to drink water but I poured on my face while drinking.

"At least pour water on glass and drink from the glass", she taunted.

And ladies, you guessed it right, while I was pouring the water on the glass just a little bit spilled. Just another day in my life...

I smiled sheepishly at them and drank water and wiped my mouth with my tee shirt sleeve.

"How can one person be silly, clumsy, careless and childish", Payal commented looking at me with her judging eyes.

"Yet we can't say anything to her", Pooja remarked looking at me.

"Because she is cute", Payal muttered. I smiled sheepishly as I sat in between them.

"I will tell my mom about you, sister-in-law", I smiled cutely, making them chuckle.

"And a token of my love for you, I will help you in cooking", I said to Pooja maintaining the same cute smile.

"No, don't", she yelled suddenly.

"Why?", I asked with a pout.

"Don't act cute, I will smack that innocent face of yours", she hissed.

"Still, I will help", I replied, smiling at her and hugging her hand.

"I have hopes and so many plans in my life", she commented, pushing me from her.

"What did she do again?", Payal asked.

"Last night she burned the pan while making an omelet", Pooja stated madly. "And she panicked when she burned that and tried to hold the pan bare hand".

"Stupid", they both mumbled in unison.

"I am not stupid. I know how to cook... My brother taught me when I was little", I pouted.

"Yeah, he taught you but you didn't learn", Payal remarked.

"No, no, Payal. He taught her when she was little and she forgot it because now she is not little anymore", Pooja gave a high-five to Payal.

They enjoy making fun of me and I let them because they pamper me the most after my family. I think we are not friends anymore but family. They mean a lot to me.

"If your mocking session is over then come on, we will eat. I am hungry", I said, acting mad.

"Oh... our maharani is mad", Payal commented and started tickling.

"Stop", I yelled in between my giggles. But instead of stopping, Pooja also joined her in tickling me. Tickling is my weakness; I can't hold tickles.

"Ok, stop, I am not mad. Stop", I laughed out loud and they stopped after five minutes.

"Come, let's eat", Pooja said after getting a hold of her breath.

"Why did you tickle me see, I have to pee now", I whined and they laughed.
