And so, Greg Universe decided to seek someone he knew that would likely to help him in his time of need. Both father and son left Beach City in the middle of the cold winter night, away from the pain, the sorrows and the past, and away from the Crystal Gems. Never to be seen again for the last 13 years.
Life was good as both Universe's is now living in the City that never sleeps, Empire City. But as Steven grows, the more he wants to now about his real mom and her adventures with the crystal gems.
How long will Greg continue to keep his distance from the gems until Steven accidentally expose himself?
What would be their reaction to the day Greg and Steven decided to return home?
Or, in which, Greg didn't want to go back, but Steven couldn't help but wanting to see the place his mother had stayed and grown to love.
