Smut!
The next day was rather annoying at least in the morning. Y/n woke up late and nearly missed her lecture and her other professor had made her present an assignment which was about the wrong topic. Other professors had given loads of homework which made her even more annoyed since she had to present four presentations during the next week and it made her feel beyond angry, stressed and annoyed.
"You know, I originally wanted to take you with me to eat something during the break but then I found out that you've already played the new Animal crossing game with Shoyo. You have promised me that we would play it as soon as you get it! That was mean, Kenma!"
Maybe it was childish to react like that but Y/n was annoyed, angry, tired and just wanted to cry. Her own behavior annoyed her in addition and she just wanted to be alone during the lunch break. She would bring Kenma with her the next time she would visit Osamu's shop.
Kenma averted his eyes from hers and stared at his switch. He knew that he had promised Y/n that they would play the game when he would get it but he was so excited to play it and since Shoyo had been over at Kenma's house, it was too hard to resist. Besides, he thought that Y/n didn't care that much about it.
"I am sorry. I didn't know that it would mean so much to you..."
A lump formed in his throat as he saw how hurt Y/n looked at him. He had heard from Kuroo that today wasn't her best day and he originally had planned to cheer her up by inviting her over after their lecturers and classes to play animal crossing together but he wasn't sure if she wanted to come over when she was that angry and hurt.
"Of course it means much to me, Kenma! And don't you dare thinking that I just care about the game! I was really excited to play the game together with you because I thought that Animal Crossing was our thing."
Y/n grabbed Kenma's chin and lifted it up when he still refused to look at her and preferred staring at his switch even though he didn't play and just stared at the screen that showed him currently loosing to an enemy. Y/n's eyes were a mirror to her current feelings and made Kenma feel even more bad and a bit nauseous. He never would have wanted or intended to hurt Y/n in any way but now that he has reached this point, he almost wanted to throw his switch away from him and hug her but of course he was too shy for that and it was also really unlike him which was why he just continued to stare at his switch.
