There was, obviously, bad news.
But also sorta good news?

Your parents died in a car crash, which means you had to live with your cousin, April O'niel.

Soooo.... yay and nay. Yanay?

Sooooo how the fuck did you end up befriending four MUTANTS who were TURTLES and NINJAS and YOUR AGE????

Crazy, right?
Yeah. That's what you thought.

April brought you into the sewers. "Okay, trust me on this. You're gone love em, Y/n!" 
"You mean rats and sewage water? No thanks." You rolled your eyes. April sighed. "Oh c'mon! You gotta give em a chance! I'm telling you, they're my best friends." You raised an eyebrow at that.
"Okay, maybe they're kinda like brothers to me."
"Yeah, yeah. Are we there yet?"
April grinned and walked into what appeared to be a living room of sorts. It had a skating rink, and some boxes of pizza were lying around. But what brought your attention was the four aforementioned turtles.
"Hey, guys! Meet Y/n!"

The turtles looked over. The big one wearing red grinned at you, like a big ole teddy bear. "Sup?"
The purple-clad turtle rolled his eyes and murmured a simple "Hello."
The orange wearing turtle grinned and waved "Hi there!"
And then you made eye contact with the turtle wearing blue.

"Uhhh... Y/n, you're staring-" "nAMES! Uh-"
You cleared your throat.
"W-What are y'all's names?"
The turtles introduced themselves. Raph, Mikey, Donnie, and Leo.

Leo cleared his throat and leaned against his sword.
"So uh, you come here often?"
The other turtles stared at Leo.
"I mean, not really. But that can change." You grinned at him. He grinned right back.

Today was gonna be a good day.
