"Yup" she drank the last bit of her iced coffee. We all got out of the car and walked into the building. "Nate, who much does this doctor cost?"
"Don't worry about it"
She glared at me which I returned but playful. "You ready to go in?"
"Yeah let's get this over with" gabbi shoved open the door.
"Mrs Anderson, nice to meet you" the doctor stood up and shook our hands.
"Nice to meet you too"
"Nate, no problems with you?" the doctor teased and I noticed maddie raising her eyebrows at me.
"Nope" i smiled.
"Forget about me? I'm the patient" Gabbi waved her hand in front of the doctor.
"Right, sit down Gabriella"
"Cool, do you guys have coffee? I'm parched" she sat down on the couch and the doctor looked at her clearly amused.
"You guys sure are raising a character"
"We'll be back in a hour okay?"
"Bye, adults" she saluted before we walked out and closed the door.
"Nate, no problems with you" Maddie mimicked in a high pitch voice as we walked out the building.
"You can't seriously be jealous of that"
"She was clearly into you and Gabbi noticed"
"Get out of your head, I only have eyes for you"
"I sure hope so, would hate to become a single parent again"
"Come here" I grabbed her neck, pulling her closer to me and kissing her.
"Im hungry"
"For me?"
"Don't give me an ick"
"Fine, what do you want to eat?"
"Tacos, shrimp, avocado toast, some chips and sushi"
"When did you get such a big appetite?"
"Ouu can we get waffles as well?"
"Sure whatever you want" I threw my arm around her and walked us to the car. "You driving?"
"Nah take over" she opened the passenger side and got in. She reclined the seat back and grabbed a blanket from the back.
"Getting cosy"
"I see that"
I heard my phone ring, I took it out of my pocket to see its my dad. "Hey pops"
She put the phone on speaker and her dad started talking.
"Hey, are you home?"
"No, just getting some food"
"You need to get home"
"Why?"
"Im waiting here for you"
"You're in London?" Mads sat up in the seat.
"Yup, missed my little girl and I have a little surprise"
"We'll be there in a few"
"Okay" She hung up and looked at me with excitement. "Dad's home"
"You miss the geezer?"
"Don't call him that"
"Fine" he chuckled.
We drove to the mall and she walked into the party shop but I pulled her back out. "What are you doing?"
"We need stuff for our girls birthday party"
"Fine" She dragged me back into the shop and started giving me things to hold.
"Why did I agree to this" I groaned.
"Shut up" She threw a balloon packet at me. We grabbed a bunch of unicorn decorations since she loves them.
"Let's get her that"
"The car?"
"Yeah, she would look adorable in it"
"Okay fine"
"Hey, can we talk while it's only us"
"Sure, what about?"
"You flinched when gabbi brought up wanting another sibling"
"Yeah"
"Mind telling me what's wrong?"
"Im scared"
"Of us having another baby?"
"What if I fuck it up again"
"You didn't fuck up the first time"
"I did though, I was avoiding the thought of being pregnant, drinking and we live stressful lives"
"I want a baby"
"Same but like I said I'm scared"
"Look at me" She groaned before looking me in the eyes. "You and I haven't fucked up gabbi, she is the best thing that ever happened to us so why not have another one"
"I'll think about it"
"And if you don't feel like having one, we could just adopt"
"Would you actually?"
"Yeah, I'm not going to pressure on you or your body"
