VIII - A Day of June

So it was Williams birthday, his 20th birthday to be exact, it fell on a Friday so as a typical 20 year old, the party happened on that same day, bou it lasted until the morning.

5:45AM, the blinds open, the tray is placed on the very same place it is every morning, the princess gets up, more excited today, both her brothers were home, and it was William's birthday.

At 6:20 in the morning, Caroline was ready, shower taken, uniform on, make up made, hair brushed, etc. She ran downstairs with her brothers present in hands, Callie wanted to see him before leaving, she could have easily missed school, but it happened to be the last day of Year 11, she wouldn't missed saying goodbye to all her friends because of Will.

"Morning birthday boy!", she exclaimed already with half her breakfast eaten, "I've got something for you", Callie took the box and handed over to her brother, who opened it with lot's of curiosity since it was a large package.

William had gotten a portrait for his little sister, but not just any portrait, a painted picture of him and his mother. Caroline watched him carefully, waiting for a single sight of reaction. The birthday boy could barely speak, "Thank you", he whispered while hugging her, "I love you Will", she hugged him closer, "Love you too 'Call".

Caroline wanted to stay like this forever, but she couldn't. The princess rushed to brush her teeth, put on some last minute lipstick and head to school.

Her last day had been very busy, making her final test, saying goodbye to all her friends, it was hard, but she also had a blast.

Classes ended early that day, so she left to play in the school piano one last time before summer. Once she finished "For Élise" the princess noticed Theo in the audience. "My father is here, were going to Scotland and will only be back mid July", he explained, "Oh I thought you'd be here for Chloe's big start of summer party", Callie sighed, "Unfortunately I won't", Lions walked over to her, "I was planning on kissing you a couple more times on that party", she laughed, Theo got closer, "Then you should compensate with a good one now", their faces were inches away from each other now that he was also sitting in the piano bench, "I think I should", he pulled her hair of her face, placed his hands on her cheeks and joined their foreheads, "Then what are you waiting for?", The princess was now desperate to kiss him.

With his hands still on her face, Theo kissed her passionately, she placed one hand on his stomach and the other on his neck. They kissed until the oxigen ended, he separated them, breathless, Theo rubbed his lips on hers while locking eyes with Callie.

The young Lions kissed her forehead and whispered, "I'll miss you", and left, his father was still waiting.

She went back home remembering that moment over and over in her mind, blushing and smiling nonstop.

Caroline changed into the summer dress she had gotten from Jemma, put a darker make up on, some sandals and went to the tables on the garden, where William's birthday would be.

Last time I checked it was nearly nine, I was having a good time, talking with my cousins and family friends, Harry went missing for half and hour, like on my birthday, he was smoking, again and again it wasn't the right time to talk to him.

I have been interested in William's uni friends for a long time now, and for the sake of summer, they were all there. So my brother has a good eye when it comes to friendships, all those people were super nice and cool, there's still one last person, Catherine Middleton, the one who is slowly stealing my brothers heart, I caught him gazing at her multiple times during the night, Willie is falling in love.

"Hi, you're Miss Middleton right?, I'm Caroline", I presented myself finally, "Yes, umm Hi it's nice to finally meet you, Wills talks a lot about you", she replied, "Well let's say I am a good subject", I joked, "You are his favorite character if I may say", this time I only chuckled, "Believe me Ms. Middleton I am not ", she looked over at me, "Call me Kate or Cath please ", a smile came out of my face, "Well then Kate I am Callie ", Kate seemed surprised, "I imagined you would be Carol ", funny, "That's the nickname the press gave me, Princess Carol, William never called me Callie in front of you?", I had to ask, "No, you're usually Caroline or Lil Sis, sometimes he goes further with 'C ", she explained, "Oh, that's typical him, by the way, um, William told me you have a boyfriend ", am I going too far, I mean I only just met her, "Ex-boyfried, we broke up a couple weeks ago ", I think it's going to be a cupid summer for me, "Oh I'm sorry to hear that ", she smiled, "It's alright, he was a big idiot", had to be, to let go of such a woman, "Hey Kate, can I get your number, I really liked you", honestly I did like her, but this was also a cupid plan, let's give my brother a girl shall we, "Of course, here".

It was a long night, too long actually so I can't possibly tell you every detail, just be aware that I drank my first glass of beer tonight, but it wasn't much, Will was still sober enough not to let me have more than one, otherwise I could get in a lot of trouble with Pa.

Finally, I did it, it was a stressful day people. Well it is still the 21st on my country so, it still counts.
