Sixteen, she was sixteen.
The princess was sixteen years old now, people from all across the world were sanding her happy birthday cards, presidents and kings of other countries either send her flowers or a dismo from their country. Charles presented her with a copy of her mother's favorite book, Emma by Jane Austen. Her eldest brother gifted her with a Van Gogh painting and some flowers, typical William. Harry gave her chocolate and a latter so big and full of nonsense I won't care to describe it here. Jemma as a friend, presented the girl with a blue summer dress, one wich made Caroline look exactly like her mother.

Both her parents were incredibly tall, actually the two of them had the exact same size, 5'10, the girl wasn't much shorter, being 5'9, but her brothers decided to be extremely high, both over 6ft tall.

Because of the fact that her birthday fell on a Wednesday, she spend the day with her family, obviously some of her cousins were there two, from both Windsor and Spencer sides.

Around 4PM, Will and Callie walked together in silence, then sat on a bench and started talking. "So how's uni?", She started, "It's going great, studying my butt off and having lots of fun", Caroline stared at him in curiosity, William knew she wanted to know about his love life, "No girlfriends, just friends that are girls", she let out a annoyed sight, "But your still close with that girl, umm what her name again", Callie tried to remember, "Catherine, Kate, something like that right?", She finally remembered, "Yes we're close", he looked down, "Do you fancy her?", His little sister wondered in curiosity, "Maybe", he answered, "Uuh, aren't you gonna be men enough and ask her out?", he chuckled, "She has a boyfriend", she nodded, "Well then my friend, you're cocked up", the prince laughed, "I'm aware".

The conversation continued, but it was so long that it lasted till around 7PM, so I'll spare your time.

Harry was distant, his little sister tried to play games with him, talk to him, she even tried to ask if he'd fancy a drink with her, even though she didn't want to. Callie told herself that this was her day, and she was going to be happy and enjoy the people that were actually giving her love and attention, if Harry fancied being a tosser than he could be one freely.

Birthdays on a weekday are horrible, all she could do was miss one Wednesday, but on the next day, here we were, in school once more.

She had invited a group of friends, 7 in the total, including you know who, to have lunch with her on Saturday, just so they wouldn't miss it, the Spencer side of her family liked having children, so in total there were 13 Spencer cousins and 4 Windsors.

It was around 1PM and everybody was there, except one certain someone, who couldn't get off Caroline's head, Theo hadn't arrived yet and she was forcing herself not to call him and make sure he was coming. Her best friend, Chloe Lions, who happened to be Theo's cousin, noticed Callie's disturbness, "If this is about my cousin I suggest you relax, my uncle dragged him to London last minute yesterday and they are coming back right now, but because it is Saturday, there's probably traffic", the princess had told her about last months events and her feelings, it didn't matter that it was her cousin, they were still best friends.

Chloe and Callie

She was right, Theo was stuck in traffic for a good while and only arrived at almost 2:00PM.

When Callie saw him, her heart raced and she walked over to him, again g forcing herself not to run, she had a quick chat with his father, who was a lower, and then guided the boy to the lunch table, as a cupid Chloe had saved the only empty seat for Theo right beside her best friend. Once they seated, Callie's eyes found her brothers, who were staring at the boy, with a not so happy and welcoming look.

The whole afternoon was a blast, they had lots of fun and talked about every possible subject. The princess noticed William walking up to Theo and just hoped that he'd be nice, but once she looked at them after like 15 minutes they were both laughing.

Callie's eyes searched for her other brother, and she found him in a large distance, smoking. Caroline didn't fancy fighting so she decided that it would a conversation for later.

Chloe was going to sleep there, and because he got there late, Theo stayed a while more, obviously as a cupid left the two alone with some excuse that she needed to go to the loo.

"I want to give you something", he started when he noticed his father's car approaching, "You have already given me the piano music box, what else do you have there?", She chuckled, "This", he leaned in, holding her neck and gently touching her waist. He kissed her, Callie felt like she was in heaven, her first kiss, oh God. He separated their lips, "Bye", Theo left for the car, Callie just stood there, in disbelief.

Chloe was disappointed that her cousin left without talking to her, but she saw the state of Callie and asked her what happened, "He kissed me", that's all she could say.
