Sébastien was startled awake by a smashing sound coming from downstairs. He rubs his eyes and sighs before getting up.
He got ready before heading downstairs, and he saw his father cleaning up pieces of a mug he dropped.
"Dad.." Sébastien started, "Are you okay?"
His father didn't say anything and just cleaned up the broken mug before throwing it away.
"Are you mad at me? Like mom is?" He asked, but once again, his father didn't reply, and Sébastien sighed,
"Okay, I'm gonna head to school now. Love you, dad," Sébastien said before grabbing his bag and walking out of the house.
Sébastien walked to school, soon arriving, and he spotted his friends. He walked over, "Hey guys," he greeted,
Stu gave him a smile and a wave, and Billy only gave him a nod as a greeting,
"What are you guys doing tonight?" Randy questioned, looking around the group,
Sébastien tuned out the conversation, playing with the hem of stu's sweater, and stu didn't seem to mind one bit.
He wonders if he was ever going to see him mom again. He wonders if his dad would ever talk to him again.
"Hey," Sébastien snapped out of his thoughts by stu, and he noticed that the others were gone, and it was stu and Billy left,
"You okay?you space out there," stu asked, and Sébastien nodded,
"Uh-huh, just thinking, where did everyone go?" He asked,
"The bell ranged silly," stu said, giggling, and Sébastien chuckled,
"Come on, let's head to class," Billy said, and Sébastien and stu nodded,
"Hey, I'm sorry about your mom leaving with dusty. " stu said as they walked towards the school entrance,
"I was actually starting to like him," he added, and Sébastien turned to look at him,
"Really? I thought all that cuddling you did with him meant you liked him," Sébastien told him,
Stu chuckled, "we tolerated each other," "stu didn't like dusty because dusty used to beat him up," Billy said, as he held the door open for stu and Sébastien ,
"Innocent until proven guilty, dusty did nothing wrong," Sébastien said, and stu put an arm around his shoulder, "he abused me," he pouted
Sébastien let out a small laugh, "Did he?" Stu nodded, smiling, "Billy even saw,"
"Well, I heard screaming, but I was too lazy to check," Billy replied, and Sébastien laughed, shaking his head at his friends
"You guys are so weird."
