Fritz and Nimi were hopefully in the same spots.

Daniel tried to weave his way through the crowd,

Ever since he left to the bottom floors to look for Bismarck, the hall had only gotten significantly more crowded than before.

All of these admirals and officers and their spouses were all over the place, doing things like chatting and playing all of those games you see old people playing, like cards or something, and none seemed sensitive to the kid trying to weave through them,

Unfortunately, when Daniel eventually got to their corner, Fritz and Nimi were gone.

"Well. Shoot, where am I going to find them in this-

O-Oof!" Daniel said.

*Fa-twump!

Daniel fell flat on his chest,

".....ow.....

Thats smarts..." Daniel said as he crawled back up

"Oooooh! Sorry sorry sorry! Do you need help getting back up!?..." A squeaky voice said.

"Eh... just make sure to watch where you're go..." Daniel said, getting up from the ground

"Oh, you must be one of those ship-girls...." Daniel said.

"Yes! I'm U-556! Parzival of the seas at your service!" The little girl said.

Daniel blinked.

Parzival was a knockoff of the nickname Perceval for captain Herbert Wohlfarth of the real Type VII U-Boat U-556,

Daniel actually memorized that fact quite a bit ago,

The only time the nickname Parzival was used was on a joke thank-you letter that was sent to Captain Lindemann on the Bismarck for lending the Bismarck's ships band for the commissioning ceremony of the boat.

The letter promised that "We, U-556 declare before Neptune Lord over oceans, seas, lakes, rivers, brooks, ponds, and rivulets, that we will provide any desired assistance to our Big Brother, the battleship Bismarck."

The letter then included a drawing of U-556 towing the giant battleship back to port.

In reality however, cruel irony happened when Operation Rheinübung got to its fiery conclusion, and U-556 was out of torpedoes, and almost out of fuel.
