JIMIN POV

"One particular day of the
year, the two of you lose command of your
beasts." Yoongi said.

"This isn't the first time it happened."

"We have it under
control." I replied.

I took charge of the
conversation since Tae
didn't seem to be in the
mood to talk today.

"Do you really?"

"Tae when you spotted
those intruders, you should've known better than to take
all three of them alone."

"You could've waited for me
and the two of us could easily finish them." yoongi stated.

Tae held his stare but didn't answer him right away.

Yoongi let out a heavy sigh,
then turned his attention
to me.

Yoongi continued.

"And Jimin what were you thinking picking a fight with Venom's new VP? What if
you killed him by accident?"

"We would've had a war
on our hands, There's only
four Alphas in our pack."

"Five, if we count Nolan in
but we can't take on an
entire motorcycle club."

I opened my mouth about to explain myself then closed it.

Truth was, I wasn't
thinking at all.

354 days in a year, I was
in the driver's seat but
yoongi was right.

I lost control.

One particular day of the
year—yesterday to be exact,
I let my wolf take over.

It was as if my body didn't
want me to forget the day
Tae and I killed our father.

"If Jimin didn't kill Jiwoo then
he held himself back." Tae answered for me.

That surprised me for a
second.

Tae and I bickered six days
of the week but when it
came down to what was important, we always had
each other's backs.

"Tae needed to let off some steam." I answered for my brother.

"He should know better."

"That's true enough for the
both of us but he couldn't
help it."

Yoongi studied the two of
us for a moment.

"The two of you could've
died."

"Have you thought of that?"

"Someone people would say
the world would be better
off without my brother and
I in it." Tae said.

I clenched my jaw.

Unable to help myself, I
punched him right in the
face. Tae growled.

"Take those words
back." I yelled at him.

"We're in a good pack, We belong to a real family now."

Before he could hit me back,
Yoongi shoved us both apart.

"That's enough."

"Do you really believe
that?" Yoongi asked Tae.

"Who would take care of your horses and Al if you died?"

That gave Tae pause.

We all knew how deeply Tae cared for the animals in
the barn.

I could still remember the
first time we laid our eyes
on that dilapidated barn.
