"Because I care for you." I said.

As I admired this women in front of me I could see the right coner of her lip slightly tilt up and it made me do the same.

"Look, I'm sorry for doing what I did. I'm sorry for causing you and Amara so much pain. I'm sorry for all the bad things I've caused in your life. I'm sorry for everything." I said seriously, because I really was and I don't even think the word sorry can even get anywhere to how sorry I feel for her.

I all of a sudden feel her warm hands rise and cup my face. What she does surprises me yet it rushes feeling and emotions everywhere in my body.

She kisses my forehead.

Her lips were soft and so gentle. The moment her lips made contact with my skin, I lost everything in me. I was going crazy.

I forgot what I was even doing for a second.

Fuck!

This girl has my heart beating so fast.

She has me loosing my breathe.

She has me getting weak just from her presence.

She has stolen my heart away from me and I hope she knows that's its forever hers.

"Why'd you do that?" He asks looking at me with a slight grin at the coner if his lips.

"Because." I said not even knowing why I did it myself.

"Really?" He asked with a full grin now.

"Mhm." I said and bit my bottom lip to hide the smile forming.

We both look into each other's eyes and a smirk stars to grow on my lips.

I lean back on my hands.

"Fuck." He whispers to himself and drops his head foward.

"What?" I asked.

"I don't think you realize what you do to me Naomi." He says as he looks up to me and we're suddenly even closer to each other.

"What do I do to you, Ace?" I asked knowing damn well what I do, but just wanted to hear it come out his mouth.

"You make me go fucking insane."

"I do?" I asked narrowing my eyebrows and tilting my head with a grin.

He raises both eyesbrows in yes.

"Since you said you wouldn't let me be alone, what do you want me to do then?"

"Just stay with me." He said and I narrowed my eyes at him.

"For how long exactly?" I asked.

"As I said, until I feel you've given me a convincing smile that shows that your genuinely happy."

I fake a genuine happy smile showing my teeth and dimples, to see if he'd see if it was real or fake.

"That's not a genuine happy smile, Naomi." He said letting out a soft chuckle.

My lips broke into a smile and shook my head slightly and looked to the side then back at him and he's alreay looking at me with those eyes again making me feel things I shouldn't be feeling.

"Stop looking at me like that." I said.

"Like what?" He teased with a smirk.

"Dont act innocent. You know what your doing." I said and his smirk turned back into a smile.

It's silent for a bit as we stare at each other again, and it seems like we both can't stop.

"You know it surprised me to hear that you've named our daughter Amara after everything." He said.

"Me too." I said and I genuinely didn't know why I did but I did and I don't regret it.

"I love that you did that though."

I smiled and mouthed a 'thank you' to him.

"You know I wonder why you and her get along so much." I said.

"I mean what can I say. She's my girl. Shes a daddy girl." He teased.

I playfully rolled my eyes.

"But I want you to know what I'd do for the two of you-" I cut him off.

"Ace I know you would do many things and wouldnt care about the consequences you would have to face. Hell I know you'd risk everything, anything even yourself. But don't because I don't know what I'd do if you were erased from this world. I don't even know what Amara would do because it seems she's found a best friend." I said.

I honestly would most certainly do the same for him...

"I'm glad you know that I do that for you two."

"Always." I said smiling.

"There's that beautiful smile" He said looking at my lips.
