Rae's POV:
I look out the window and realized were at my favorite sushi restaurant. Sushi is my favorite food so I was excited to eat here for real.
We get in the restaurant and we get seated about 10 minutes later.
"What you gon order?" I ask Sev
"I think ima get the California roll" she tells me
"What you getting?" She asks me
"Ima get the Philadelphia roll." I tell her
"You love that Philadelphia roll" she says laughing
"How can you not love it?" I tell her rolling my eyes jokingly
We place our orders and get our food.
After we eat, it was 8 o'clock and Sev takes me to the park nearby the restaurant. The park was really lit up. A bunch of fairy lights were hung up around the park tonight.
We walked around the park and talked to each other.
"Sev, why you ain't got no jacket?" I ask her
"I forgot to bring it" she tells me
I take my hoodie off and give it to her
"It's okay, ion want you to be cold Rae." She tells me
"No it's cool, I'm actually hot right now and you get cold easier." I tell her
She puts on the hoodie and holds my hand. She starts walking off the park path and we go onto the next street. I don't know where we're going but Sevyn sure does know.
We walk down the street A little farther and Sevyn pulls me into A shop on the street. I realize it's A cake and pastry shop and get realllll excited.
"Yooo I love cakeeee" I tell her
"I know you do, why else would I bring you?" She tells me laughing
"You right" I laugh with her
"What do you want me to get you?" She asks me
"I want A German chocolate cake please" I tell her
"Mk sit right here and I'll be back" she tells me and goes to pay for the cake.
I sit in the chair she told me to sit in and I start looking around the shop. The place gave off coffee shop vibes.
I'm so glad I have Sev. I don't know what'd I'd do without her. She's someone who actually loves me and takes care of me.
"Here you go ma" Sevyn tells me as she hands me my cake
"Thank you" I tell her as I get up and we leave
We get back to her car and eat our cake in the parking lot. After we finish eating we start talking.
"What college you want to go to?" She asks me
"To be honest, I don't think I'm going to be able to go to college" I tell her
"Why you say that?" She asks me
"I haven't been offered any scholarships and I can't afford college if I don't get A scholarship. I think my best option is to join the military." I tell her.
