Rae's POV:
"Awww you got A necklace for me?" I ask her
"Yea, here you go" she says
She hands me the box and I open it. The necklace was gold and had A heart charm with the words "Rae Rae"
"This so cute bae. I really like it" I tell her then hug her
She hugs me back and smiles.
We lay on her bed next to each other and I'm scrolling through my phone. She was on her phone too but then she rolls over facing me and starts playing with my dreads.
"You need A retwist girl" she tells me
"You know how to retwist?" I ask her
"Mhm, I can do them for you" she tells me
"Ight you can come over to my house on Friday and do it. Bring you a bag with yo stuff so you can spend A night, only if you want to. I would like if you did though" I tell her now face to face with her
"Mk I gotchu mommas" she says and kisses me on the cheek.
I smile at her
"It's getting late so I'm finna head home but I'll be here in the morning to pick you up"
Friday afternoon
Sevyn's POV;
Me and Rae in her car headin to her house. Rae's family wasn't very wealthy so she lived in A pretty bad neighborhood. We finally make it to her house.
Her and I get out and walk up to the door.
"Dang where the world my keys at??" She says while rummaging through her pockets
"Girl did you lose yo key?" I ask her
"Nahh, they prolly js somewhere in my bag" she says
"But ion feel like lookin for them" she added
She bangs on the door
"Open the door Rayna!!" She yells out
She be gettin so aggressive and I find it funny sometimes. We waited at the door for A minute.
"RAYNA OPEN THIS DO-" she gets cut off by her sister swinging the door open
"Bro shut yo goofy lookin self up." Her sister Rayna says while letting us in
Her sister looked about 5'9 and was A stud. She looked like an older version of Rae. Her dreads were blonde and were down to her mid back. She had a bunch of ear piercings, A septum and A smiley. She had a tattoo sleeve on her right arm.
"Took you long enough" Rae says rolling her eyes
I follow Rae to her room and we put our bags up.
"You want me to cook sum?" She asks me
"Yea, Whatchu gon cook?" I ask her
"I can make some chicken Alfredo pasta, that sound good?" She asks me
"That sound mad good." I tell her
"Ight you can come in the kitchen with me while I make it. My sister the only one here right now" she tells me

We go to her kitchen and I sit down at the table scrolling through my phone while she's cooking.
"Where are your parents?" I ask her
"Oh to be honest I don't know. They be going to work but after they shift they be goin places. I don't know where to but they pretty much never here." She tells me
"Oh so you just be here with your sister?" I ask her
"Yea, we had an older brother but got shot in a drive-by 2 years ago when he was walkin around the corner to get home" she tells me
"I'm sorry that happened" I tell her
"It's fine, stuff like that be bound to happen in this area. Just gotta learn how to defend yourself." She tells me
Rayna walks into the kitchen.
"Raelynn, this yo fren?" Rayna asks Rae
"No, she my girlfriend" Rae tells Rayna in an annoyed tone
"Since when you start likin studs?" She asks Rae
"Since I met my girl." Rae tells her
"What's yo name pretty girl?" Rayna asks me while playing with my hair
I stare at her awkwardly. Rae turns around in shock at what her sister just said.
"RAYNA GET YO HANDS OFF HER!" Rae yells at Rayna
"Chill, I'm just tryna get to know her. She'd be a pretty fem.." Rayna tells Rae
