Location: Walmart Taryn "Ryn" Jones

As I was walking through Walmart I wasn't paying attention. I was looking at my phone texting my brother, Before I looked up someone bumped my cart.
"My fault." The deep raspy voice spoke
"You good." Was all I said before continuing to push my cart down the aisle
"Taryn?" When I heard my name I looked back to see it was my old boy bestfriend Judah
Me and Judah stopped being best friends once he moved away. We just fell out of touch with each other.
"Omg Judah? I thought you moved away when did you get back?" I questioned
"I just moved back out here recently, What have you been up to?" He asked
"Umm nothing just been working." I shrugged "How's your mom?" I asked
"She's passed away 3 years ago..." he said looking around
"Oh I'm sorry for your loss..." I said feeling bad for not knowing
"It's cool.. tryna take it one day at a time.. But where are you working now?" He asked changing the subject, we dead ass having a full conversation in the middle of Walmart
"Well I'm a Nurse. I work at a hospital now." I smiled as I told him
"I'm happy to see you accomplished your goals, You stayed talking about becoming a nurse when we were younger." He said making me nod
It made me smile a little that he remembered that about me, Judah and I used to have a really close friendship to the point we used to sleep over each other's houses everyday. Then he, his sister and his parents moved away due to their mom getting sick and wanting to be closer to family.
"You should give me your number, we should catch up sometime." He asked
I nodded and handed him my phone and he handed me his. We said our goodbyes and I finished shopping.
1 week later.....
As I was watching criminal minds my phone started ringing. I looked and saw Icelynn was calling me so I picked up.
"RYNNNN!" She yelled making me mug the phone
"Yes?"
"Where you've been at boo you ain't been talking to nobody it's been 2 weeks. Then when we came to your house you didn't answer the door." She said
