–"Can we talk..?" – he said in a lower voice

Päyva just acted for impulse and let go his hand off her wrist in a gentle way as she looked at him with wide eyes, but softening her gaze right after when she saw his flustered face

–"Oh- sorry i didn't meant to, i just..."- he said almost stuttering while taking a few steps away from Päyva – "I was just thinking about that 'situation'...at the beach-" – but before he could continue Päyva suddenly speaked

–"Dont worry about it.." – she blinked a lot of times avoiding eye contact - "How did you got here anyways?" - she frowned

–"Oh, uhm- i just asked Tuk and she asked your siblings, they guided me here" - he says pointing at Tuk and her siblings hidding behind one of the island's roots behind him and running away laughing as they realized she could see them

–"I swear i will kill those two!" - she mumbled putting her hand on her face in annoyance for a moment, then looking at Neteyam once again - "Come, it's time for your sign language practice"

–"What..?"

–"The sign language, you said you were struggling to learn it"

Neteyam got confused and kind of upset at the same time, he noticed the girl avoiding eye contact and slowly walking away from him, it's like the girl was pretending like nothing happened but also showing that she was uncomfortable by his presence. But perhaps she was just embarrassed by Aonung's own actions and hers about him as well, even tho that she knew Aonung was the first one to provocate that whole situation

–"Oh-! yeah...the practice, right." - he shyly said after taking a few steps closer to her and accidentally making a quick eye contact, but that was enough to make the girl blush and quickly turn her back at him and starting to walk away, being followed by the boy right after

Neteyam was just following from behind not so far from her, they were walking at an awkward silence and Päyva was thanking Eywa that he couldn't see her flustered face that she knew she was making right now. She was also overthinking about how she was going to apologize to him about the way she overprotected Aonung before or the way she suddenly yelled at him. But suddenly the girl's thoughts got interrupted by the boy's sudden speech

–"So, where exactly are we going? It's almost eclipse"

–"Well, generally, almost all the people stay at the shore collecting what the hunting party brought, and the older artisans made some jewelry and new clothes for their children," - she suddenly stops walking, making the boy quickly do the same, only some inches away from her

-"So, " – She turned around now looking at him, but still not straight to his eyes - "I prefer a place with less people"

She turned her back at him again, ducking under one of the trees roots of the island to cross to the other side of the beach, being followed by the boy. She kept slowly walking while Neteyam's eyes wide at the view
