Months have passed by since the training of the forest kids started, and everyone could see that they do learn pretty fast, especially the older Sully kids, but the weird part of this is that the older of the Sully boys seem to had learned almost everything, at least the basic, but pretending to be struggling at some swim exercises, as anyone could see to pass more time with a certain Metkayína girl
At that morning, the two teenagers were now sat on a rock a little afar from the village, Päyva was trying to remind Neteyam of some of the breathing lessons from some days ago, that the boy was pretending had suddenly forgot about
–"Okay, so remember what Tsireya taught you guys before," – Päyva said while looking at him right in front of her, who was looking away every time he tried to look straight to her face
–"Imagine flickering a flame" – she says while analyzing the boy's breathing
–"Breath in, and breath out" – He do as she says, trying to keep up, but distracting himself very easily everytime she closes her eyes to breath out, Neteyam couldn't believe that through all these months he couldn't even make one decent conversation with the girl
While overthinking it, when Päyva opened her eyes again to check the boy, she noticed his struggle to focus and rolls her eyes at it
–"Ugh, here, let me help you" – She comes a little closer, being almost only one inch away from him, placing her hand on his tummy, which gave the boy chills
–"Breath in, and breathe out.."
Neteyam tries to do as she says, while analyzing the girls eyes once again when she wasn't looking directly at him, which obviously made the boy's heart beat faster
–"Neteyam, your heartbeat, focus.." – she slowly says switching looks between his eyes and her hand on his tummy
–"Sorry.." – the boy looks away as fast as he could from her face, getting a little flustered, making him blush a little
It was almost noon and they were already on their way out of the rock when suddenly Neteyam calls Päyva attention before she could reach her ilu
–"Wait!" – he sort of shout to her, that made her eyes wide a little turning around to look at him almost immediately
–"Yeah..?"
–"Sorry, i didn't mean to- anyways...uhm"
–"Are you okay, forest boy?" – she coffed while giggling a little at the boy's struggling to speak
–"Yeah, yeah i mean, uhm...sorry" – He stops for a moment, cleaning his throat before looking at her once again - "I was trying to ask you if you could teach me that- finger talk again y'know?"
–"You mean sign language?" – she raise a brow at him
–"Yes!! I mean- yea that!"
–"But haven't i already taught you? like yesterday?" – she asks
