Good morning Sister Burton,

What a beautiful morning. To see the glow of the sun spread out across the desert is truly incredible. I finished work in Eureka and now headed out to Fallon to fuel up and then head to Reno. I pulled off at Sand Mtn to write to you.
I say one of the Wonders of the world it is.
The Paiute Indians say it’s alive like unto a serpent, a snake always that is moving.

When I got into my accident Feb 14th I felt immediately a sadness for my truck. I teared up and said, “I’m so sorry.” Afterwards I blessed him, and thanked him for so many memories.
The miles……….. For sticking it out with me.
Going up the canyons and across the valleys.
Over the many mountains and Mtn Ranges.
The all nighters. The long days.
For me it was real. It still is when I think about it.

Gussy, “we put our all into something and it becomes a part of us.” It’s natural to be so!
A part of me was lost that day. I loved my truck.
If I could only bring him back. It’s calming to know that I have a new truck that’s ready for any adventure. Already we have created memories worth more than the treasures of the earth.

So it goes with life. A secret in life Gus:
“The best part of each of us is in what we do.
I’ll say it again………….
“The best part of each of us is in what we do”
You have left your mark there in Ohio.
You are apart of the trees, rocks, buildings, and the pioneers, even them of the ancients long ago.
The spirit has purged your soul.
The enlightenment of all things temporal, yea even spiritual are now yours.

I give thanks to Heavenly Father for one of His choicest daughters this morning. You!
You are an angel. You finished the good fight.
You have declared glad tidings of great joy to many you other wise would’ve never known if not for your service to The Lord. Be grateful.
Be glad. Be it known to you my dear sweet daughter the blessings of the eternities are always with the faithful.

This Sabbath Day is glorious. This will be your last Sunday as a servant of The Lord. I see the Heavens opened up and the many beyond the vale celebrating you and your sacrifice for the gospel of Jesus Christ. Halle Ione is one to be remembered when all may seem gone, out of reach, and untouchable. Oh where is thy balm?
Where can we turn for peace? How is it Lord to see all things, even reach into the heart of one’s spirit to embolden, enlarge, repair, change, yea even fulfill. May it be so for you Gus Gus.
May you feel this day a closeness not yet felt as you partake of the sacrament. Know this; all will be put in order. All will be blessed according to their rightful desires in their hearts. He has paid the price has He not? Did He not drink out of that butter cup. Did not His blood drop for all creation? Was the tomb empty on the third day? Yea!
The stone rolled away marking a new beginning for this earth and all mankind?
Be of good cheer for He has overcome the world!
Be it so, likened unto Ruby Dome over 11,300ft.

Peace unto your soul I bless you with.
My love I leave with you.
God speed Gussy till we meet again.
Echoed through the Great Ohio Valley-
ie………. ie……………………….. of a Shoshone White Hand Warrior from the vast wide open valley of the Reese River which flows below the
Great Toiyobe Mountain Range to the mighty Humboldt River.
Echoed along the Great Ohio River-
A Ke A Ka I declare unto you Sister Burton.
ie………………………………, flying high above you
I ride upon the wings of Freedom, my friend
Golden Eagle-
ie….. ie…………. ie…………………………….
