I decided to do a little test - what happens to girls when they go a year without Starbucks... At my high school, every girl there loves Starbucks - lattes, cappuccinos, frappuccinos, anything inside that green cup is priceless to them. So what happens when that's taken away? Who will be the first to crack? And the last one standing gets a year's supply of Starbucks - all the stuff they missed out on! My questions is, which white girl is brave enough to take on the challenge?

I email Betty every night. It's become a nightly routine. She never replies, and I've stopped expecting her to, but the habit of writing has stuck. Over time, the emails turned into something more like a diary, a report-like I was hoping that, just as I typed in silence each night, she too sat somewhere, waiting, reading. They grew close friends, maybe considered even best friends. With lies upon lies, mystery after mystery, death after death, who would be the murder? Who is the mastermind?
