"Stop it, you look amazing and I'm just getting my hair and makeup done, they should be in, in about 5 mins now" I say while looking at the clock on the nightstand.

"Oh no sweetie you have to put on your dress first, otherwise the makeup will smear all over it" My mom persists.

"But what about my hair? I'm sure the dress can get messy while I sit and get my hair done" I say in short panic.

"Not if we lay a towel down and around you while you have on your dress that way if anything gets on you it'll be on the towel, not the dress" Joyce explains, I sigh, getting back to being calm.

"See what moms are for?" Asia says as we share a quick laugh.

I sigh happily and nod, "Ok, let's go put on the dress" I hold out my hand for my mom and Asia to hold.

"Jade I'll be heading back to the church to make sure everything is set in place for you ok?!" Sharon says while leaving the room.

"Ok! Thank you!" I say quickly before she heads out.

"Me and mom will watch the baby while you get dress" Lytrell says.

"Thanks, um she has some white hair bows I want her to wear could you put those in for me? And her basket with the white rose petals are right beside her crib" I say.

"I'll finish touching up her hair" Lytrell suggests.

"And I'll go get the basket along with her shoes" Joyce says while heading off into the other room.

"Thank you guys so much" I say.

"Girl, it's nothing. You family now, been family" Lytrell smirks, "Now go get ready, don't be like Cinderella and have everybody waiting until midnight"

I then give her a stale look finishing off with a smile, "Really?" Both of us sharing a quick laugh, I shut the bathroom door behind me as both Asia and my mom help me put on the wedding dress.

In it in about 5 minutes I turn to face the body length mirror as I see myself officially in my wedding dress along with the jewelry pieces and shoes.

"Girl...you are gorgeous" Asia compliments while briefly resting her head on my shoulder.

"Thank you so much bestie, for everything" I say as I already found myself getting emotional.

"Of course! I can't believe my best friend is getting married! Ah!" Asia celebrates as we share a quick laugh.

"You look absolutely stunning dear, I'm so proud of you, and God has truly blessed me with a beauty such as you" I then turn to look at my mother directly, I then take her hand in mines, "I wouldn't be where I am, the person I am...if it wasn't for you. So thank you mom for making me the woman Chris loves enough to be his wife"

I could see it in my mothers eyes that tears were begging to fall, so I did the favor for her by quickly wiping them beforehand. She then took my hand that was placed on her face as she gave it small kisses. Sighing and shaking to get the jitters of emotion under control she says, "Ok, let's get you married!"

"Yes girl cause' you already know I'm gon' be crying during the ceremony I don't wanna cry when I look this good in front of my man" Asia blurts while me and my mother laugh at her foolishness.

Asia peaks outside of the bathroom, noticing both the makeup and hairstylist ready to pamper me up, "They here and they ready for you- oh! And by the way, your aka, "after-the-wedding" dress is in the church's closet so after the ceremony or whenever you ready to put it on, it'll be in there along with the shoes and earrings- it's all ready for you boo" She explains.
