Arthur's/ Paxon Pack, Late Afternoon

"ARTHUR...?"HER VOICE was taught, filled with coarse as she fumbled with confusion and distortion. Her world swarmed with irregular colour, blurring in the gratuities of her company. She turned, fixating herself to the clearest appearance. There sat, parallel to her body, the most beautiful sight."Davina." The relaxation of her tone was soothing, the current after the waves had hit the shore. Her sight melted as she found her daughter, completely taken at the sight of her rosey cheeks, her hazel eyes brimmed with power, even her hair, the beautiful rings they softly fell into.

The teenagers  gaze filled with tears of strained relief at the sight of her mother, awake, alive, here. Months had separated them, many nights Davina had laid curled in her bed, trying to translate the grimoire Mazeki had once given her, twirling the matching necklace as she reframed from burning her sadness through her eyes. "Mazeki!" She whispered, her body quickly enveloping the Original.

Her arms strung over the blondes rigged shoulder, her whole body nearly collapsing on top of her, far to excited to  even consider the force behind her body. The young witch began to brew fear, noticing that Mazeki did not swiftly take her hug, instead remaining stiff under her hold. Davina nearly pulled back before feeling the woman's arms snap up around her. A hand slipped along her waist as the other came up to cup the crown of her head."My sweet Dove."

Paxon Pack, Evening

SAT AROUND A small carefully constructed fire pit, the four species sat in silence, all focusing on the popping embers that rose from the roasting wood. It were discreet in this area, secluded from the camp in its own private area. Jasper sat silently on his own log, discreetly taking glances at one of his longest friends as she sat opposite him, Davina tucked discreetly under her arm as she ever so often planted kisses along her head.

Arthur stood silently, retrieving another log that were stacked among others. He carefully there I a top the smouldering ashes, his gaze faltering as he looked to the face that were carved in his memories."How are you feeling?" His tone was careful, restraining from letting off all the relief that filled his body seeing Mazeki alive.

"Drained," she answered automatically, unable to lie. Despite the promise of complete rejuvenation that came with her turning, Mazeki could confidently say that she believed she might be the most exhausted vampire in existence."But much lighter. Whatever that trap were, it was much easier to deduce then I believe was expected from its source." She assured the group, squeezing Davina's shoulder to punctuate her sentence."Thank you Arthur, truly. It was not you obligation to take care of me, and yet you did"

Returning to his unfortunate seat, the alpha looked to his daughter. Her beautiful eyes shun back at him, unguarded and no anger. It was beautiful, truly, a sight he only could recall from her life as she were human."You are my child, even if you may not see yourself as so, you share my blood. I will always protect you, little warrior."

The air turned still as the two blood relatives stared at one in complexity, there was much to discover of their relationship. So much hidden, from the world from her siblings, and yet Mazeki could not relinquish the burning pit in her chest. That burned with anger for Arthur's death, for the fear of losing a father for a third time. Acceptance was a scary excursion, and one Mazeki had not ventured continuously.

Of course, Jasper and his always filling mind was a helpful company when wanting to break prolonged silence."How are you alive again- and how did I not know you were a werewolf until now?" He pointed at the man dully, searching Maze curiously for answers to his many question.
