They decide to go off to sleep. Before going to sleep. He gets a call from Jim, asking him when is he coming back home. Robin tells him he's busy. Then Jim hears some voices and asks if he's with someone. Robin tells him it's just his laptop, playing a TV show. Robin promises that he'll go home next week. As he lies down on bed, we see that Elliot is with him and Elliot asks him who was calling him. Next episode, Robin arrives home. Jim, Sally, and Melissa,and a couple of their friends have brunch at the garden rooftop. After eating, Robin treat them to songs he wrote while he was at the Bluth Vacation Home.He also livestreams it to his online fans, including the 14 fans he has waiting for him at the vacation home. After the mini-party, one of Sally's friends, Olga, asks him out on a date tonight if he has nothing to do, since there's a free filmshowing at the park, at the door. Robin says yes. Before, he went inside, he notices how there is a familiar car parking near their building. Later that night, Olga and Robin walked to the park. Robin does not know there are shadows following them. When they arrived at the park and settled down under a tree, up a small hill, away from the rest, as they watched and drank/ate some food they bought from the vendors. Olga and Robin kissed at one point, as it is getting dark, then Olga excused herself to go to one of the porta potties. Robin waits then spots someone to the left of him Ocean arrived out of nowhere setting up a picnic near him. Robin calls for them and they pretend like they didn't see him earlier. When asked what they are doing here, Ocean said they just want to visit the mainland and catch a movie. Then Elliot appeared out of nowhere, behind Robin, covering his eyes. Robin is not happy they are there and when Olga came back, they introduced themselves as Robin's lovers. Which Robin denies. Olga is a little freaked out and decides that they call it a night. Robin asks that the two go home or go back to the vacation home since who is managing the others. They said, Sawyer, and Robin tells him that Sawyer just smokes weed and has no concept of time. However, Elliot and Ocean expressed that they are upset that Robin goes looking for other lovers. Robin is shocked by this and realizes that Ocean and Elliot do think of themselves as a part of Robin's harem. Here, Robin tells him that he loves them and he can't wait that they continue where they left off at the vacation home. As the two leave him, Robin goes to a pharmacy, sighs, and bought a box of condoms. Next episode, Robin stood before his loyal followers, basking in the adoration they showered upon him as he again treats them to a song as Elliot and Ocean provide backing vocals and Sawyer and other three form a band for him. His eyes roamed over the the faces of his fans, pausing on each of his most devoted disciples giving them each a look they . He couldn't help but feel a sense of pride and accomplishment at the song they had created.Suddenly, one of his followers from the audience stood up and shouted, "Robin, we have a surprise for you!"Robin looked at him curiously. "What kind of surprise?"The follower beamed. "We made a portrait of you!"Robin's heart sank. "You what?"Sure enough, two fans pulled a trolley and they pulled a sheet off a painting of Robin. It was a grotesque and unflattering painting of him, with creepy and eerie eyes and smile. They want the painting hanged on the living room. The rest of the cult cheered and clapped, but Robin felt like crawling into a hole. "That's... that's great," he muttered, trying to sound appreciative.Another follower piped up. "And we wrote a song about you, too!""Another song," Robin thought, bracing himself.The group began singing in unison, the lyrics a bizarre and off-key ode to Robin's greatness. Robin smiled weakly, feeling incredibly uncomfortable. Only one notices how uncomfortable he is, Fern. As some of the fans decide to go home but they promise to come back in the next weekend, to bring more food, and go back to working in their day/night jobs. Fern, Ocean, Sawyer, Elliot decide to stay with Robin. The sun was setting over the horizon and Robin's fans were gathered around a bonfire on the beach. They had been waiting for hours for Robin to join them, but he was nowhere to be found. Suddenly, Robin emerged from his family's vacation home and made his way down to the beach."Robin! You're finally here!" Ocean shouted."I'm sorry for the delay, guys. I was working on your guys' song," Robin said."Oh, can we hear it?" another fan asked.Robin hesitated for a moment before agreeing to play it for them. As he started to strum his guitar, albeit a bit gingerly, the fans started to sway along to the melody. But then, Elliot, with his guitar on hand, interrupted him."Robin, could you play it again? I didn't get the chords," they said."Sure," Robin said, starting to play the song again.As he was playing, Sawyer started to sing the chorus loudly, completely off-key. Robin tried to keep playing, but it was impossible to ignore the awful singing."Guys, maybe we should let Robin play the song without interrupting him," Fern suggested.The rest give Fern a dirty look but then felt embarrassed when Robin smiled at Fern. As Robin strums his guitar again, albeit not as good since it's been a long time he has not played guitar, Fern asked about their song. Robin liked the song, he said, but Fern wants him to tell the truth. Robin honestly tells them that he does not and he wishes that they don't make songs for him anymore cause it always leads him to fix it and he rather focus on his own songs. So Sawyer asked him to play his own song. However Robin tells them that they should go back and retire for the night. Plus, his fingers are hurting from all the strumming. Monday, In the morning, Robin is in his recording studio/room, packing up to go back to his home cause there he'll continue working without any disturbance when Ocean knocks on his door.Ocean reveals that she has been listening to him behind the door and she wants to suggest on changing some of the lyrics and beat of the song. Robin does not want to but is convinced to do Ocean's way when Ocean got Robin to sign up for an interview with a local music magazine website and they might recruit him for their yearly music festival, a chance to gain more fans. So Ocean suggests he get back to his studio and get back to work and not go home. We'll help you succeed further, that's what we're here for. No more distractions. That night Robin got a bad dream. That he is being locked inside his room and only let out for private concerts with his followers who are wearing cultish clothes/uniforms. He is let out of his room, from slaving away on his music, and he is ordered by Ocean to sing a song for them. Then they sing along with him but they sound so eerie when they sing his song. Then he sees Fern taking a picture of him with her professional dslr camera, the light flashes and the camera transistions/cuts to Robin in the studio room of the magazine website that Ocean was talking about. The photographer is instructing him how to pose for the website. He asks the make-up artist to add more concealer on his face. The camera cuts to the editor in chief talking to OceanAs they exit from the place, Jim and Sally spot Robin and they call for him. Robin turns to him and he hugs his brother and Sally. Robin is forced to introduce them to Fern, Elliot, and Ocean and Ocean immediately introduces herself as Robin's manager.Robin answered that they have not decided on that one although Ocean has pointed out that Jim comments that he looks great but sally points out that he has gotten thin since the last time they saw each other. Elliot tells them that they should go back to (name of the island) The group have a late lunch (all of them above) and Jim and Sally seemed supportive of the team but Robin priavetly tells him that he doesn't like them and that he would have rather said yes to (name of the manager who approached him first) Jim just want that they at least meet each other weekly and that Melissa misses him. And if Robin does not like them anymore, he can just call it quits. Also during the lunch, Elliot and Fern can't stop asking about Jim and Robin's childhood and more lore about Robin. In the weekend, Robin has a meeting with all of his fans/team. And he is asking if they are asking for compensation now that his career is running and going. - there is a subplot where two of the fans fell progressively in love with each other since they first met at Robin's intimate session at the coffe place and want to get married at the (name of island vacation home) and they want Robin to write them an original song for their weddingIn the weekend, Robin has a meeting with all of his fans/team. And he is asking if they are asking for compensation now that his career is running and going. He is getting compensated for the concert and Robin "fire" but never really actually hires Ocean in the first place. Which shocks the whole inner circle fandom. He calls and hires the manager that approached him first at his first intimate concert at the coffee shop (which strangely looks like an older version of himself, alright my dream actor for this is Jeff Blim. Actually imagine Jeff Blim to play various characters on this mini-series) They ask what will happen to Ocean, Robin says that he can be his assistant or production assistant, anything that is lower position than manager. As Robin leaves to go to a rehearsal (he hires his tour buddies from the first episode and there's a scene where they have a happy reunion and they ask about what happened to them since their last tour together) and leaves his "inner circle" behind with Geoffrey, the new manager. Geoffrey's job is to keep and let go people in the inner circle. He keeps the people who is head of merchandising/promotion and finance. He relegates the others as on-call staff if they wish to, and that they'll be huge help in the concert. And they'll be compensated by 15dollars per hour and concert merchOthers have decided to quit, while others with huge roles stay but they feel bad about the situation (one of them need the job since it has been weeks they quit from the job they hate). At the end, how they feel about Robin change,especially his treatment towards Ocean who did most of the job scoring the gig for him and did the managerial work. (new episode - opens with a flashback to a time when Robin was in gradeschool, spending a vacation/school break with his family, relatives, family friends, brother, cousins, and close childhood friends at the lake house. The children swim race against each other which caused Robin to get leg cramp and almost getting drowned until Jim and one of the kids noticed that he's having a hard time and his head and hand bobbing in the water and rescued him. In the next day, he spends his time indoors getting bored. His mom invites him to play the piano in the living room with her and that where he starts his love and learning for music). Back to the present, Ocean spends the late afternoon practicing the old upright piano in the living room and singing a song (in alto and somewhat badly) sung by Robin before but with a changed tune and lyric. She commits some mistakes on the pianoElliot and Fern, talk to Robin about how Ocean felt being downgraded to the merchandising and promotion department of his team ( they joke that she might make "I hate Robin Bluth" merch or worse " just really ugly ones". So Robin tries a heart to heart conversation with Ocean by the lake during sunset along the mini boardwalk. There Robin offers her some edibles or dark alcohol (in a wine bottle) as they talk, but Ocean wants to have a clear head as they talk about this. Robin does drink some alcohol during their talk. Robin expresses how he appreciates her hard work and support but it feels like Geoffrey is the better manager for him. He does not want to say that he feels like being restricted and that Ocean is getting pyscopathic with her control over him but he finally did when Ocean kept repeating how unfair he was being. Ocean was left shocked when he said that and does not agree with him so Robin cited examples but Ocean denies all of this leading to resulting with Robin saying that it doesn't matter since he's the talent and he only hires people that he works well which breaks Ocean's heart when she heard it. Then Ocean said what she really wants out from this, since Robin no longer praises her for her songwriting and puts down her suggestions once they stopped classes is why she took the managerial work herself believing that she'll never succeed as a songwriter like him. She just wants to be equals with him and not just a fan and want to be in the music industry as well. Robin, after hearing all of these, said that she has to accept that she can't just be equal to everyone she knows. That she is just a fan. Ocean, pushes him what she thought was lightly but Robin lost his balance on the thin boardwalk which also broke. While Ocean panics as she too don't know how to swim (ironic for her name) Elliot and Fern were observing the whole time and was able to alert everyone in the lake house about Robin drowning so one of them were able to fish out Robin in the nick of time before he becomes unconscious (although one of them tried to give him the kiss of life but Robin pushed their face away). And that on, Robin decides to kick Ocean out of the inner circle even though she kept saying she didn't mean to and she tried to to reach out for him and she also doesn't know how to swim. Geoffrey agrees with Robin and calls Ocean a threat to Robin's life. One of the characters commented how ironic that the two don't know how to swim while Robin's rescuer lived most of their life in downtown mainland and only learned how to swim at the public pool. Two of the investigate the "crime scene" and noticed how there are fresh wine drippings and they noticed edibles in Robin's pocket. Plus the boarwalk is old and has thin boards leading to some of the characters believing Ocean did not do it and half of the people in the house leave with Ocean, a divide in the inner circle and breaking and the inner circle getting smaller. Those who left with Ocean will soon become Robin's hater group or those type of fans who no longer like their fave celebrity/artist. NEXT EPISODE : The ConcertRobin rehearses with his friends from his touring days who agreed to work with him pro-bono in his first performance as a solo artist. Robin promises that he'll hire them if he hits its big plus now he has a manager and a loyal team. However, Robin feels like someone is following him and one time he gets jumpy while being alone somewhere like in the elevator or a comfort room. Speaking of the team, the remaining inner circle works with Geoffrey and his own recording label staff in making sure that the concert t-shirt has Robin's name on it and their whole team have a uniform at the event with Robin's name and face on it. And they only plan to make and give away wrist bands and key chains that have Robin's name and face to give away to the concert attendees that Robin will convert into fans. The "inner circle" ask about T-shirts and caps (and foam fingers which the fan is corrected right away that is only use in sports) and Geoffrey tells them there is now way they are spending wayy too much money for Robin right now to give away free stuff considering he's still in the testing rounds with the recording label, which means he's still being considered by the label, not an official talent. "If he deliveres an fire performance and when I hear the concert goers chant his name, and after the concert run their survey with the concert viewers who is their top 5, then mayyybeee we'll have him as an official talent in the label. Now the inner circle wonder if Robin knows about this (later they know he does as he, Jim, Sally read the contract papers and consulted with an entertainment lawyer before signing. Geoffrey and his recording label gets 10% (300 dollars) of the commission that Robin gets from the concert which is 3,000.00 dollars as a locally famous musician, as an opener for nationally famous artists including Lilly Lopez). Ocean earlier on also booked the concert so she does an agent role. That's why Geoffrey calls her a shame that she is a harm to Robin because Ocean is a good talent, scoring gigs for Robin. At the day of the music festival, Robin receives stargazer lilies on a vase from Lilly Lopez, congratulating him and saying good luck. Robin thought it was sweet until he realizes that Lilly got lots of likes, shares, and positive comments about how sweet/supportive she is of her posting it on social media about saying good luck to a "former touring band member" who will be opening/performing in the afternoon at the music festival and not even citing his name and his social media tag. Jim tells him not to sweat it and just repost the video on social media, make some hashtags and tag himself and Lilly Lopez about the flowers and be "gracious". "It's a game now that Robin can play". Jim is at his tent with Robin's inner circle. Robin thanks him to be here and Sally is manning a pastry booth in the vendor's grounds. However Jim asks why Robin can't be alone, even in the comfort room and asks him what's up. Robin admits that he's still scared what if Ocean will attack him or do something that will ruin his The music festival starts in the 4:00 PM and Robin will play 3 songs and if he gets an encore, he'll sing one more. The inner circle are meanwhile having fun outside, exploring the music and arts festival, with face paint, food and artists and merch vendor booths. Robin rejoins them and asks them how they are doing and he makes a impromptu short speech about his graciousness for them and he hopes that they stay with him not just as fans but finally as a paid a team which is fair for them. Elliot blurts he wishes Ocean and the rest are with them. Robin says he does as well but he can't change people's decisions if they want to stay or not. Plus, Ocean was a threat to him. Actually, the boardwalk was thin and you were drinking liquor and Ocean is smaller. Robin gently shuts it down and that he only wants to spend the early afternoon with his inner circle so they go ahead and buy and eat food and Robin got to take photos with his other local fans. What he doesn't know is that Ocean and the rest are actually cooking up a plan. Dressing up in Robin's official record label black t-shirts and wearing face paint and Robin masks (that one of the inner circle leaked to them days in advance), they plan that once Robin is about to sing his third song, they are gonna turn off his and his band's audio and Ocean will sing Robin's song in her own version and auto tune her voice and using a laptop to perform the third song which was also leaked to them in advance. (the couple are actually divided on the Ocean and Robin fiasco and one of them leaked the info because they would rather go against the fandom just so to be their partner, which the other half also did the same thing later and warned the other team what they'll do) which one of them pointed out what if you guys just leave each others' team and be together instead of leaking each others' info teams. During the first and second song, the attacker team was actually vibing with Robin's first and second song, remembering how they loved Robin's songs in the first place. When Robin sung his third song, they almost forgot what they were going to do but remembered after Robin sang a few lines then audio cut off and Ocean continued off where Robin left. When Ocean started singing, the audience was cofused and a few started booing when it clearly shows what's happeningThe audio team have to rush to fixing Robin and his band's audios and music festival security is charging to the audio tower to arrest Ocean and the others. But once Robin's audio is fixed, he decides to sing along with Ocean which confuses the audience again and Robin made it look like that this was on purpose and the audience is vibing to them. Ocean realizes that the enjoyed their impromptue duet but reality strikes when Ocean and the rest are taken to music festival jail. Robin and the rest visits them and asked them to be let go. They talked and Robin admits that Ocean did not push him and it was an accident and he was being overacting about Ocean being a threat to his life. And Ocean admits that she has been controlling of Robin (which Robin thanks her for saying that). Robin does say what Ocean has been eager to hear Robin say that she is a talented songwriter and lyrically wise, she did improved his song. So can Ocean come back to the inner circle and the rest, Robin says there will be no inner circle and because Robin and Ocean's style is different, is not on brand with Robin so Robin encourages Ocean to set her own path as an artist. "You really think so?" "I mean it's not just me." The ending/finale of the show is a wedding which happens five months after the music festival. On what the setting was build up that it seems that Robin is marrying Ocean, not really but Robin is officiating a wedding between his fans at the lake house. Most of the main and minor characters are in the wedding (including the old man who takes care of the lake house while there are no other people using it, but only after he warns teenagers in a car about weird and dangerous things happening in the island).At the wedding, we learned that Ocean released a couple of songs on the internet (spotify) and is having financial support to continue making more, one of them is Robin and the rest, meanwhile some are starting their own music careers in various ways including as a teacher or busking on weekends, and working in the record label and team for Robin (Elliot and Fern) while others went back to their old lives/works and having music as a hobby. Jim and Sally also updates that they also finally bought the coffee shop beside their bakery and they baked the wedding cake in the wedding. The episode ends with an establishing shot of the wedding in the island during sunset/dusk.
