Chloe's POV
Wow. He is so nice, loves kids and make me laugh. I think I like him. We exchanged phone numbers and went back to work.

The next day
I can't stop thinking about Alex. He initiated the last hang out maybe I should ask him to go out.
Text:
C: hey, so where do doctors hang out after work?
A: There's this bar Joes not far from the hospital. I normally get some beer and head home.
C: why don't I buy you a beer tonight.
A: are you asking me out???
C: Maybe....
A: alright. 8pm Joe's
C: see you there.
Oh my god. He said yes. I continued my lesson plans for the upcoming week. I'm couldn't wait to see him again.

Alex's POV
Oh my god. She is so cute. I couldn't wait to see her.
"Why are you smiling?" Meredith says
"I'm not." I reply
Christina grabs my phone. "Aww evil spawn has a date."
"Who is she? Do we know her?" Meredith asks.
"Probably not. She's a teacher that volunteers at the hospital." I reply.
"Wow. Someone who volunteers. How did evil spawn manage to win someone nice."
"Shut up" I growled.
"Ooh testy." Christina says.
"Look I like her. Maybe she'll go crazy or leave but maybe this could be it." I say.
"None of those situations were your fault Alex. Maybe she could be the one. Have fun." Meredith says before and Christina leave. God I hope so.

Chloe's POV
I arrived at Joe's at 7:45. Why was I so nervous. I ordered a glass of wine to calm my nerves.
Alex walks in.
"Drinking already" he says behind me.
"Well I am at a bar aren't I. What do you want?"
Joe hands Alex his beer.
"How was work?" I ask
"Good. I had an appendectomy. Nothing to emergent."
"That's good." I replied
"How was your day?"
"Pretty boring. Just made lesson plans for the week."
We continued to chat about everything.

Alex's POV
I'm having such a good time before you know it it's 12 am.
"We should probably head home." I said
"Oh yeah. I have to call a cab." She said
"No you won't. I'll drive you." I said.
She was borderline drunk and I didn't want to risk anything happening to her.
"You don't have to." She argued
"I want too." I insisted "plus we get to extend our date a little longer."
"Alright." She conceded.
She stood up and stumbled. I grabbed her waist and helped her to the car. She gave me her address and we started to drive.
I pulled up to her apartment complex and walked her to the door. I kissed her on the cheek and left. I smiled to myself on the way home. I had definitely fallen.
