Before Greys Anatomy officially starts, the characters are transported into a room to watch the harrowing life of Alex Karev. WARNING: Several things will be different compared to the show. Personalities, appearances, even events from the show. This book does not follow canon at all, I might take a few events from the show but that is about it. I do not own Greys Anatomy or any shows I might slip into the story. This book is not for Alex Karev haters, and if you do not like Meredith, Christina, Izzie, George, Derek, or Addison bashing this is also not for you. Amity Wills was wheeled through the door of Seattle Grace Hospital with a broken leg and possible head trauma at age 12. She had been in the foster care system since she was 3 years old, when her mom died in a building collapse. She knew the hospital for it's sadness, what does she gain in happiness? Well, she gets new foster parents for one, but that doesn't sound very interesting... but when those parents want to adopt you and happen to be Derek Shepherd and Meredith Grey? She's in for a treat.

Grey's anatomy but without all the deaths. There are the original couples such as Meredith and Derek, Christina and Owen(i know it's not and original couple but I just love them so much), Arizona and Callie, Jackson and April, Mark and Lexi, and Alex and Jo. Derek and Meredith have Zola who is just 8, Bailey who is 4 and Ellis who is 2 years old. Callie and Arizona have Sophie who is now 2. Bailey has Tuck. They have all chosen their specialties. Alex is in Pediatrics, Meredith is in General surgery, George is in Trama, Christiana is in Cardio, Izzy is in Oncology, Jackson is in Plastics, April is also in General, Percy and Reed decided to leave.
