She was there the whole time. She witnessed the evolution of those two's love. But, she had to come back because that was their contract from the start. That couldn't be changed unfortunately.

Tae: Can't you do that.. I mean... Hahh.. You are a fairy right? You should be able to make me stay..

May: The contract was signed Tan. That's how magic works.

Tae: .....please... He begged joining his hands. Then, he collapsed and got on his knees.

The lady got on her knees at her turn and held Taehyung 's chin. She smiled and caressed his cheek gently. Then, she gave him the flower.

Tae: Hhh...

May: There is one thing I can do.

Tae: What..

May: But I don't know if you would agree to it. Just listen carefully.

Tae: I am willing to do anything!

May: I don't doubt of it. She said with a giggle. You could go back there as a cat, or,

Tae: .......

May: if you die.

Tae: What..?  I am not sure to understand.

May: For Taehyung to be born, Tan has to die.

Tae: .........

May: You will have a brand new life. With brand new people. You will have a family like everyone. You will be simply born as a human this time.

Tae: But.. How.. I would be a baby then??

May: What?  Nooo. Hah. You would be born some years ago not this year.

Tae: Huh??

May: You are.. Tan please focus on what I say.

Tae: I understand. I just.. That means I never met Jungkook. That means I lived a part of my life not knowing him. We will be strangers?

May: Yeah. That's the thing. So that's your choice. Do you want to stay as Tan, a cat by his side , remembering everything that happened. Or, be born again as Taehyung, having your own life as a human but.. Not remembering anything of what you did as Tan.

Taehyung parted his lips and looked at the flower he was holding.

Tae: I want to.. I want to be a human. He decided, hesitating but.. He was ready to take the risks.

May: No one will remember you. Are you aware of that?

Tae: What about Jungkook?

May: Don't you think it would be too painful if he does. You will disappear like you never excited.

Tae: I want him to remember. So he can find me.

May: .....are you sure of your choice?

Tae: Yes. I trust him. I trust he will find me. And make me.. Remember everything we had.

May: Alright. She finally said and held his hands.

She closed her eyes and took a deep breath. A strong wind passed by them. Her long red hair was blown beautifully in front of Tan's impressed and anxious eyes. Then, the dandelion got blown at its turn. He blinked nervously and looked at it flying away. That was a beautiful sight yet scary.

Lady May looked at him and smiled.

May: I hope you did the right choice Tan. I wish you the best. She said a last time and he passed out.

Everything related to him dissapeared. He got erased from everyone 's memory and all the things he did seemed now like a long dream.
