RWBY - [VOL 3 Episode 6] - Fate

Start from the beginning

Matt: Hey, you okay?

Pyrrha: I-I'm fine. Thank you. I'm surprised you're so indifferent about this.

Matt: What?

Qrow: Yeah... I kinda wondering about that myself.

Glynda: Normally, like Miss Niko's reaction, anyone presented with such information would undoubtely be suprised.

Ironwood: You however, your reaction to hearing this information, is almost as normal as getting a simple notification on your Scroll. Why is that?

Ozpin: Yes, why indeed...

Matt: Uhhh..

Matt: Well... I enjoy watching shows?

Pyrrha: ...

Glynda: ...

Qrow: ...

Ozpin: ...

Ironwood: ... What?

Matt: Uh... this might sound weird, but I'm really into fantasy stuff, especially if it involves magic.

Matt: So much so, that it's just "numb" for me now.

Qrow: ... Oh my gosh. You're a nerd! Ahahahahaha!

Glynda and Ironwood simply face palms, while Ozpin chuckles a little.

Pyrrha: H-Hey, that's not nice!

Qrow: O-Oh my gosh hahaha... I can't HAHAHAHAHA!

Matt: Haha yeah laugh it up.

Matt: 'Welp, at least I got rid of the tension in the air. It's almost suffocating.'

As Matt's comment eases the tension in the room, Pyrrha, still feeling a bit apprehensive, speaks up.

Pyrrha: (apprehensive) Where are we going?

Ozpin: The vault. Under the school.

The elevator continues downward through the vertical tunnel of dark green lights until it opens its doors and their passengers step out, with Pyrrha and Matt being the last to leave as they absorb the sight of the large, sparsely-lit hallway she is now being lead through.

Goodwitch: I'm sure you must have questions

Goodwitch: I'm sure you must have questions.

Pyrrha: (still taking it all in) Maybe one, or two...

Matt: 'I forgot how large this place was.'

They continue on as Pyrrha asks them.

Pyrrha: I still don't understand. You said I was next in line to receive the Maiden's power. What do you mean by that?

Goodwitch: The Maidens have existed for thousands of years. But much like in nature, the seasons change.

Goodwitch: No two summers are alike. When a Maiden dies, her power leaves her body and seeks out a new host, ensuring that the seasons are never lost, and that no individual can hold on to that power forever.
