Let's dive right in!

“I wan see Poison, him dey?” Bisi questioned, staring into the eyes of the bouncer defiantly. He looked her up and down but Bisi refused to back down from his stare; she was on a mission and getting in was her only aim. He smirked when he realized she wasn't going to squirm under his gaze. “Wetin you dey find, you get appointment?” He grumbled.

“I don't need to have an appointment, I need to see him now!” She ordered. It took a lot from her not to punch him in his face; after all this wasn't her brother's territory so she had to thread carefully. “Na me you dey order, you know who I be?” He snarled; one look at him and you'd know one punch from him would send you to hell and back, it would be foolish of Bisi to risk it. All she had to do was mellow down.

“I don't care to know who you are, I want to see Poison. Where's the other guy that was here, he was more reasonable.” She hissed, giving him a nasty look. At the mention of Oba; the bouncer Bisi grew accustomed to at the entrance, his nostrils blew out of anger. Bisi was happy she struck a nerve, serves him right! “You dey follow me, Makanaki dey talk like this?” He bellowed, taking a hold of his waistband; a gun was attached to it.

Realizing that she may have gone too far and not wanting to incur the wrath of Poison, she retracted her statement. “Sorry, but I need to see Poison. It's extremely important.” She gritted through her teeth. She didn't know he had a gun or else she'd have composed herself. “I think say you no get sense.” He laughed, taking his phone out of his pocket. He assessed her once more and dialed a number.

“Boss! You have a visitor.” He informed the receiver. Bisi was relieved she was able to get through his thick skull. “Wetin be your name?” He asked, holding his hand to the speaker. “Tell him that it's Tunde's sister.” She replied. “Poison say you fit enter. Make I tell you, no try this kian thing again.” He warned. “I don hear.” She scoffed, brushing his hands forcefully. She was just going to breeze in and breeze out…I hope!

“Baby girl, why am I not surprised to see you?” Poison cackled, taking a sip out of his beer. Bisi was marveled at the fact that she once had something to do with Jobe; that was his original name, not known to all but feared by all. They were childhood friends, Bisi, Tunde and Jobe but Jobe chose to follow the dark side. “Jobe, where's Tunde? I need to see him.” She asked, forcing herself not to inhale the lingering smell of marijuana.

“Aah Tunde is having a little nap. I doubt if he'd wake up in few hours.” He smirked, twisting the hair on his beards. Bisi was outraged, she withdrew the knife from her back pocket. Poison's men were fast enough to hold her down. “You animal! What did you do to my brother?” She cried out, the vile thoughts running through her head were very disturbing.

“Bisi, don't you dare shout at me in my own territory.” He fired, holding her tight on the chin. She was trembling inside but she'd be damned if she should show it; she'd never let him delight in her fear. Trailing his fingers from her chin to her lips, he parted them open. His eyes followed every trail of sweat that rolled down her cheeks, he was mesmerized by her beauty. If only she would come back to him, he'd treat her like a queen she is.

Memories of the times they both shared together invaded Jobe's mind. It was obvious they were in love when they were teenagers but all that changed when Jobe decided to start selling drugs and weapons. Bisi was heartbroken when she heard the news, afterall that was the downfall of her parents. They both left her alone to take care of her brother,Tunde. She'd be stupid to be in love with a man that when down the same path of her parents.

“You have a minute with him. Take her there.” He ordered, retreating his hands from her face. He couldn't be fantasizing about Bisi, what was wrong with him? With a push at the back, Bisi was directed to a hall that was littered with cells. Stopping at a particular one, it was unlocked, a figure could be seen under the dim lights. Poison wasn't bluffing,he wouldn't be awake in few hours; he looked beaten up, the only thing holding him up were the chains attached to his hands.

“Tunde! What did they do to you?” Bisi wailed, raising his head up. One eye was swollen and closed shut while the other was blotched with blood, it was a miracle he survived the beatings. “I promise, I'd pay off your debt and get you out of here soon. Just hold on for me, I beg you. You're the only family I have left.” She begged, clutching his scrawny body tightly. “Time to go.” The guard grunted. “I'll be back soon fighter.” She promised.

She needed to get that bag as soon as possible even if it means bringing down the whole Lagos, she knew what to do.Taking out her phone, she checked the time; 8pm, it was quite late. She was surprised Ada hadn't blown her phone with calls, that was unlike her. Not too long after she had gotten to the beginning of the street, she bumped into someone mistakenly.
