Chapter 13 - Hey Girly

2 Weeks Later...
"Severide, nice to see you back, especially in the academy" Orlovsky said
"Thanks chaplain" Kelly smiled
"How are you doing? I ran into Will from med, he said you hit a rough patch?" Orlovsky asked
"I'm alright now, I guess I took her death harder than I though I would" Kelly said
"You know where I am if you need me. What brings you back here?" Orlovsky asked
"Uh Louella, you know Darden's kid?" Kelly said
"Ahh the one you took in?" Orlovsky smiled
"That's the one, she's looking into joining the CFD. So I'm here to work my Luitenent magic" Kelly laughed
"She'll be a credit to the CFD, I've gotta run. I'm always around, seriously" Orlovsky said as he took his phone out

~3 Months Later~
Louella had been enrolled in the academy and was they're more or less every day. She had continued to be with Anna however, something was different between them.

"Morning Ella, fancy pancakes?" Dawson asked
"That'd be great" Louella said just before yawning
"Did you sleep last night?" She asked
"Uhm not really, I had huge fight with Anna last night and I couldn't really get my brain to shut off" Louella said as she sat down at the table
"Really? What about?" Dawson asked as she placed the pancakes down in front of her
"She's not happy with how much time I'm spending at the academy, we've kind of been drifting? I dunno" Louella shook her head
"It's your job at the end of the day, she needs to support you through it just like you would support her. I think you should talk about it with her, invite her round. We're all on shift tonight anyway" Dawson smiled
"Yeah I think I will, thanks Gabby" Louella smiled

Louella had arranged for Anna to come around for dinner, as she was setting the table her phone began to ping. She walked over and picked it up to see a text from a random number, she opened the text to see the beginning...
"Hey Girly"

Anna arrived a short time later, she walked in the door to see Louella standing at the cooker.
"Hey you" She smiled as she placed her coat away
"Hi" Louella said bluntly
"Look I'm sorry for last night, I overreacted. I don't want you to have to pick between me and the academy" Anna smiled
"It's fine" Louella replied
"Alright then" Anna said as she sat down
Louella placed a plate in front of her
"That looks amazing, thanks sweetheart" Anna smiled as Louella sat down
Anna took a small bite of her food
"Your not eating?" Anna asked
"I lost my appetite" Louella replied as she scrolled through her phone
"Why are you being weird?" Anna asked
"I'm not being weird! Unless you've done something to indicate that I need to be weird?" Louella asked
"If this is about the fight, I've already said my part!" Anna replied
"Where were you last night?" Louella asked
"Out, with Jay" Anna replied
"And if I go down to the district and ask him then he'll say the same?" Louella asked
"What are you implying?" Anna asked
"You didn't answer my question" Louella repeated
"I can't believe you would even think-" Anna yelled
"Get out" Louella muttered
"I didn't cheat on you Lou! I was with Jay !" Anna yelled
"Did I stutter?! I said get out!" Louella yelled
Anna got up and grabbed her coat, she opened the door and paused
"I didn't do anything Lou" Anna said
"I can't even look at you" Louella said as Anna sighed and walked out
Louella slammed the door and walked over to the table. She picked up a wine glass she had later out for Anna and smashed it against the wall causing it to hit the floor...
