Chapter 4

Fourth POV

I was spending some quality time with Gem to try and redeem myself from that stupid mistake I made when suddenly my phone rang. I looked it up and it was Soraya so I hurriedly took the call thinking that maybe she wanted to apologize for what she said last night.

"He..Hello how are you??" I said hesitant of what to say

"Please drop everything you're doing and come to my apartment, it's urgent" She said sounding terrified

"What is happening??" I said panicked

"Just come right now" She said and cut the call

I was so panicked that I just got up and ran away. All that was in my mind was that I needed to be at her apartment right now and help with whatever was happening. I took a moto taxi and arrived there in 20 min. I literally ran up the stairs and entered her apartment, yeah I have the keys I had to beg for them but it's good. As soon as I started screaming her name, since I saw nobody in the living room but nothing. I screamed again louder and she finally answered me and said she was in her room. So I ran upstairs to her room and found her standing in her pajamas, it looked like she just woke up.

"What happened? Are you hurt somewhere? Do you need to go to the hospital?" I started rambling panicked

"NO, it's WORST than that" She said

When she said that I felt like I was about to have a cardiac arrest, I was really worried. I started imagining all of the worst case scenarios in my head like maybe she was going to die soon or she had cancer. Like I said, worst case scenario.

"WORST THAN THAT?! WHAT IS HAPPENING TO YOU?' I screamed because I was so stressed

"CAN'T YOU SEE I HAVE A PIMPLE ON MY FACE, RIGHT HERE UNDER MY NOSE AND I HAVE TO ATTEND AN IMPORTANT EVENT IN 1H AND WORST I DON'T HAVE ANYTHING TO WEAR TO THE EVENT" She said literally fuming

I stopped there and said "what??" I was so shocked that I couldn't even move

"I know this is so terrible, I don't know what to do" She said whining

"You called me up for that??" I said still in shock

"For THAT?? FOR THAT??! DO YOU EVEN REALIZE WHAT YOU ARE SAYING" She said screaming again

"No, do YOU realize what you are saying? You told me it was urgent, I thought that you were sick or that you've fallen and broken your arm or something but it's just for a pimple and for some clothes. Like you got millions of dresses, why can't you pick one, you will look beautiful either way"

"I can't BELIEVE you're saying this right now. I should have known that you would have been useless as always. I'm starting to think that I should have listened to my friends when they told me I shouldn't go out with you, we're not from the same class visibly" She said

That hurted so much, I was already feeling unworthy of her so for her to add this to it again was so painful but I ignored her words and said:

"Honey, you could literally hide the pimple with your makeup. It's so little that nobody will pay attention to it anyway. Also like I said you have a ton of dresses, just take the pink one that you bought recently and everything would be solved. You will look stunning in anything anyway."

"humm.. yeah you're right. Thank you, you can go now I have to get ready" She said

I stood looking speechless and said: "You know we could have done that through the video call you know. I was with Gem and was trying to redeem myself for yesterday but you made me leave again today"
