Chase P.O.V.
The vine shot right past me. It gave me enough time to float safely down and duck under a tree. When I looked around, I saw a lush and green forest. Then, the leaves turned black for as far as the eye could see. I decided to call for help. "Ryder, I need help!" I said into my pup tag. The line was fuzzy and the message didn't go through. I guess I'll have to find out myself. Here I go. When I crossed over the line, color flooded out of my uniform, making it dark gray. Then, color flooded out of my fir and out of my eyes. Then I started walking. I'm not controlling my paws. I'm being controlled! My cap fell onto the ground. Maybe Ryder will see it. I walked farther and farther into the dark forest.
Skye P.O.V.
"Skye, go meet our new teammate." "Yes sir." He was so perfect. I wish I could be the luckiest pup on Earth and get to date my new owner instead of the pathetic mutt I'm dating now. I went to get the new recruit.
