Boyfriend?

"So where should we go for our date today my adorable boyfriend" Kushida said this in her cute adorable voice to emphasize the word boyfriend. I knew she said this out loud to get me in trouble with the class and attract attention to the fact that we were now a "couple".

As soon as Kushida said this the class became silent and everyone just silently stared at me in shock and disbelief including Horikita who now probably has a good idea on who the "girl" was that she saw me with last night.

Ike was the one who broke the awkward silence as he couldn't stop himself from asking the question that was on everyone's mind.

"Um excuse me Kushida, I must have misheard but did you just call Ayanokoji your boyfriend?"

"No you didn't mishear me Ike, last night Ayanokoji asked me out and I just couldn't refuse him, he looked so adorable as he looked at me with those eyes of his" She then grabbed my arm and looked at with a smile across her face but what I saw was completely different from the rest of my classmates as I saw a twisted smile and her face looked like it could barely control her laughter.

"His eyes? But they look dead all the time how can possibly like them? How is this fair?" Ikr slammed his hand on the desk near him in frustration.

"Settle down now children" Chabashira sensei entered the classroom and we all took our seats immediately in silence. By now the whole class has learned the consequences of their rowdy behaviour that they had put on for the first month or so. No one had any points left but I did as I figured out what the school wanted from us a lot earlier than most.

"Um sensei, I had a question". Kushida raised her hand in mist of the silence.

"Go ahead Kushida"

"Can I sit next to Ayanokoji since me and him are dating and it's natural for a girlfriend to sit next to her boyfriend wouldn't you say so?" I knew the only reason she said this is to continue her "surveillance" of me.

"Fine I don't care as long as you can convince someone close to Ayanokoji to swap places with you." I guess her plan continues from here now she will be able to stop me from taking to horikita at any time. This can get bothersome but I guess I have to continue this little game of ours.

"Horikita can you please switch with me so I can sit next to my boyfriend please" wow this was unexpected so he wants to completely remove horikita as an asset to me.

"Oh um... fine" Horikita looked at me expecting me to say something to her but I simply motioned for her to let kushida sit there.

Now kushida was next to me near the window and Horikita had to go across the classroom to find her new seat.

"Yay isn't this so much fun now we get to be next to each all the time during class" as Kushida said this the glare of Ike and Sudo got more intense towards me.

"Now that we have no more interruptions let us begin, I will now be explaining the next special exam you all will be facing together." We already had a "special exam" which was the term papers so I wondered what they would give us next.

"This special exam will be done as a class and a duo. While you are working together as a class towards winning this exam you will more specifically be working with another person from this class, a partner who will accompany you on this next special exam. This next special exam will be done on an inhabited island where your class and the rest of the first year classes will be put on this island for a week and you will have to learn how to survive on your own. Of course basic necessities like food and water will be provided at the beginning but it is up to you and your partner to secure more after your limited supply is finished. Both you and your partner will be sharing a combined total of 1500 points from which you can buy more food, water or other basic necessities. You may even buy luxuries if you feel like you can secure your necessities on your own or you may choose to save up your points which can then be converted to class points towards the end, keep in mind though a 200 of these points are worth 10 class points, they aren't much but they can become much if everyone in this class saves a little of these points during this exam. You will also be provided a tent each per duo and it is up to you to decide who gets to sleep in the tent and who doesn't because keep in mind no boy and girl should be found within the same tent sleeping together those who are will be eliminated from this exam altogether and a total of 50 class points will be deducted from their class. The only exception to this rule is if the pair are dating each other but that information should be relayed to the teachers before the exam starts otherwise it is not applicable to the pair."

After she finished explaining this exam I started to think of the different challenges this exam possesses for our class, since this exam has taken place within a month and a little later it has become a really challenging task for our class to accomplish. We have no teamwork and we aren't joint together like the other classes either as a united class like Ichinose's or under an iron fist like Ryuuen's. The trust between our classmates is especially low considering you have trouble makers like Sudo and girl oglers like Ike while people like Koenji who have no interest whatsoever in helping this class also exist. I started to think of the best way out class can beat this exam and nothing came to me unless if I can somehow make Kushida, Horikita and Hirata work together as leaders with each bringing something valuable to the table. I can use Kushida to unite the class under her charm and strengthen that with Hirata and his strong opinionated voice while making Horikita the brains of this operation. This will not be an easy task especially considering the disinterest that Sudo and Koenji show in this class.

First let's start with understanding how the partnering system works and then from there I can progress my plan. If it works like I believe it to then I can then make this plan a success.

"Sensei can you explain how the partnering system works" I waited for someone to ask this question and it seems like Chabashira noticed that as a smile came across her face.

" The partnering system is left up to the class leader to decide how they want to formulate their pairs, after all this is a class exam." As I suspected this was based on who's the better leader among the class leaders between A to D. It makes sense to leave the partner system up to the class leader as they have to have the best judgment to formulate the best pairs amongst their classmates while making sure no one is abandoned or left with people that will only drag the duo down.  Another problem arose from this situation, Class D did not have a proper leader so far we had been led occasionally by Hirata and then sometimes by kushida.

I need to start by making Kushida the leader of this while putting Hirata and Horikita in a supporting role to her.
