"First most of the Faunus left Kuo Kanna less than three years ago, then half of the criminal underworld started to crumble down. And now this? A secret country that only the outer settlements and apparently Vacuo knew existed?" Asked a professor named Peter Port, making a Cat Faunus' ears perk up at the mention of the Faunus' former home.

The news that almost all Faunus from Menagerie were gone stirred the pot, so most of Remnant's Huntsmen and Huntresses were thorough in investigating the matter. The White Fang took this especially hard, as it was evident when the organization lost 3/5's of its members shortly after hearing the news. Then after a few months of investigation, the headmaster of Beacon and Atlas' General received a tip from a Huntsman named Rhodes who heard a rumor about "a one-of-a-kind paradise" in a small bar at Dormir, one of Atlas' settlements.

And as if that wasn't enough, Vacuo was apparently the only Kingdom to know of its existence. Though Qrow Branwen pestered the head of Shade for information about it after being told by Ozpin of the tip from Rhodes, he never got any information from him, as the ruler of Velhallis made him swear an oath of secrecy.

"Hard to believe we've never heard of this place yet. Surely someone would've told us about this Velhallis before all this farce," said a professor with blonde bunned-up hair named Glynda Goodwitch, talking to Ozpin, Beacon's headmaster.

"No, no one from the settlements would've told us outright," Ozpin replied.

"And whose fault is that?" At Qrow's retort everyone gave him a look, which he pointedly ignored.

"Indeed! I hope we can successfully establish relations with this country and learn about its history." A rather excitable bespectacled man named Bartholomew Oobleck replied, his wild hair moving with his head as he nodded.

One of the occupants onboard, a Huntress with silver eyes, flinched slightly, hoping no one noticed it.

Unfortunately, two people did notice her slight flinching, although her husband decided not to say anything about it.

On the other hand, Qrow decided to ask her about it. "What's the matter, Summer?"

Summer perked up and looked around, each of them having a look of interest on their faces, worry more so from her husband and daughters. She just let out a breath before answering.

"... I know one of the people there." At that, all eyes were on her, making her continue. "The country's ruler saved me from certain death, almost eleven years ago. Apparently, when he healed me he was travelling around the world as a part of his country's tradition called 'Trials of The King', a year-long ritual to become the ruler of his country."

Her family's eyes all widened. Qrow nearly dropped his liquor flask.

"Ah, so we can expect our 'first contact' with them to go as smoothly as we can hope." Ozpin said. Professors Oobleck and Port and the students murmured in agreement, while Summer just looked away.

"Not quite."

Everyone gave her a look of confusion, more so from her family. "Just because he saved my life doesn't mean we were acquaintances, nor are we on friendly terms. Don't expect him to be as amicable as my mother; if anything, he would just see all these Bullheads as us trying to intimidate him," Summer explained further.

"Knew we all should've just gone on one of those Atlesian airships," Taiyang commented. Qrow silently agreed with him.

"I'm sure he'll understand," Glynda said, though her eyes held some doubt as to whether this impromptu meeting will go as smoothly as Ozpin thought earlier.

Just then the voice of General Ironwood sounded throughout the Bullhead's PA system. "Now now, Mrs. Rose, have faith. I'm confident that this will go as planned." Ozpin agreed, though he could tell that even the general was starting to get cautious.
