I feel the cool water currents help me move towards my home, normally my mom would walk me to and from school but she was having one of her bad days so I felt that I could go alone (looking back I should have helped more maybe then I wouldn't be here today but it's ok I was only nine there was only so much I could have done to save her) when I got home I saw other people outside and when I tried to get in they just pushed me away telling me that this was the royal family's business and I should stop trying to snoop but when I finally got inside I saw them dragging my moms body out of the house there where so many stab wounds in her body and so oh so many scars on her torso even at a young age I could easily tell what happened or at-lest so I thought "hey kiddo come on stop being so sad what she did was unbelievable and completely unforgivable-" I blocked out everything else he had to say because I knew the story oh to well and it wasn't a good one, the one thing I didn't understand at all and only now do I understand is how it was her fault the thing is that it wasn't her fault not at all if only the king could keep it in his pants this would never have happened. Mom always said that it's ok what happened to her because I got me out of it along with my artwork, stories, and poems which is sweet and all but nothing and I mean absolutely nothing could have made what happened to her ok. I was quickly taken to the castle to live with my family and step mom but even though most orphans and kids like me would love my life I hate it.
